We stayed here for two nights on our 10 days roundtrip. The room was fantastic with comfortable beds and a direct view at the sea. Sue and her husband have been the best hosts we have had on the entire trip. The breakfast was excellent (I am still dreaming of the the delicious pancakes :-) )! Thank you very much Sue for the wonderful stay!

Room Tip: If possible, ask for a room with sea view.

The lovely owners of this B&B have the formula right for a wonderful stay in Connemara. Situated 5 mins drive from the beautiful little town of Clifden the Spacious B&B overlooks the beautiful bay below. The breakfast menu offers a wide range of choices including fresh fish caught on their own boat. Highly recommended. Will return.

After an afternoon at Kylemore Abbey we found this wonderful B&B - with beyond wonderful hosts. Clean, comfortable, sizable rooms with all the amenities we required/expected. Sue, our host, even helped us book a riding adventure for the next day - despite the rather late hour. Just a short drive, dinner in downtown Clifden was excellent (plentiful options). Breakfast was expertly prepared and the morning-time conversation with Sue enjoyable. Would book again - as of the five B&Bs we stayed in during our trip - this was the best! Wish we had time to book a fishing trip with Sharamore House...

This was a nice place to stay. The rooms were very large compared to other places we stayed. The food was great as well. The only complaint was that it is a distance from town. You have to drive a good 3-4 km. We got there early and discovered you couldn't check in until 1700 so we had to come back. We used a package travel deal so we paid with our travel vouchers. Clifden was a nice town.

During our last trip to Ireland we stayed in 7 b&b's and this was certainly the best. It has a home like feeling. Sue makes you immediately feel welcome and is always ready for a interesting conversation. The rooms are large, bright and very quiet. Some (but not ours) have a view on the bay. There is a large parking. The breakfast menu by itself would be worth the trip (try the pancakes). One point however: the house is too far from Clifden to walk and you will need a car

Room Tip: If this is important for you, request a room in front with the view on the bay

My disabled pensioner aunt and I stayed at Sharamore B&B for 5 nights. We stayed in very comfortable ground floor accommodation. Sue was the best hostess we encountered on our 3 week trip around the west coast, recommeding local attractions, drives and walks (Sky Road drive, Conemarra National Park walks, discounted tickets boat trip to Aaran islands. Sharamore breakfasts were awesome, especially the pancakes.

Went on a driving holiday of western Ireland, and had just pre-booked this B&B for our first night. The view that greeted us in the morning was amazing!
The hostess was very warm and ready to help us find our way to the town-centre to get something to eat.
Wi-fi was of decent quality in the rooms, and the white pudding served with the Irish breakfast was to die for!!!!
