if the typical B&B felling is important to you, then the gannon's is not the right place. it's more a hotel without reception. it lacks the personal touch of a B&B compleatly. the rooms are big and the bathrooms of very good standard. the breakfast is also good - with cheese and cerials, but no irish breakfast, porridge or eggs.
on the down side: the walls are thin like paper. you hear from the neighbour room everything - starting with the TV, ending up with the toilet. it was beyond all bearing.
even with the pros, i would not go back to this B&B.
