We've eaten here before and loved it and this was no exception. Starting with the scallops, perfectly cooked ... but with a curry sauce... , a perfect match. Followed by Irish beef perfectly cooked... heaven. And not to be outdone by the souffle... there was not a drop left.

This is a large mansion that has none of the warmth of, say, the Dunraven Arms, but it is elegant and clean and fun to visit. Drinks are, unsurprisingly, expensive. But it's worth having a couple/few to enjoy the poshness of the edifice and the beauty of the grounds. We've brought our kids and they are welcome. They love the large chairs and more formal environment.

One of the best meals we had on our 10 day trip! You felt like you were dining at Downton Abbey!! Our waiter was wonderful and seemed to really enjoy his job!! Nothing was out of the question. We had a 4 hour dinner there, such a treat!!

We highly enjoyed the traditional Irish music group that was playing. They were wonderful, a family of 4 I believe.

We stayed at the Villas at Adare Manor. The entire experience was one for the Memory Books! Our second day, we decided to see about a lunch at the Manor, before we headed into Limerick for some Riverfest Festival Events! We were greeted by Peter the Maître 'd, and seated in front of a beautiful old castle fireplace. The entire room was spectacular. Several couples or groups were arriving for Afternoon Tea. We were served by Tony and Shibohan. Everyone on staff that day were what we all look for in "wait staff" , friendly , knowledgeable , willing to make recommendations , and also engage you in discussion of local events, or services available at the Manor or the Golf Course. The food choices were well priced and made for exciting choices for lunch, steak sandwiches, Caesar salad, club sandwich, soup of the day or curry chicken as examples. Presentation was great and the flavour was very good. We had very high expectations due to the five star rating of the entire resort. We were immediately impressed by the staff, thrilled by the atmosphere, the surroundings, and of course by the very satisfying meal! We have found everyone one that we encountered as efficient, welcoming, and very engaging! The Manor has exceeded our lofty expectations!
Thank you to you all!
