This hotel was beautiful, location and service were superb but I will never darken the doorstep again. My husband and I were appalled and disgusted to witness what I can only describe as "management" shouting at the employees at reception. What a reception! To see the lack of respect management had towards their employees was disgraceful. As an employee in the public sector in the US myself I have never witnessed this kind of behavior and was personally embarrassed for the lovely young girl at reception. I would never support a business that would treat it's employees in such a way. I think the most degrading and offensive thing one could say to an employee is "are you stupid? " and unfortunately these were the words my husband and I overheard. Utterly shocking behavior.

I organised an outing for 60 ladies from my golf club. We stayed in Dunraven Arms for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. I cannot speak highly enough of the assistance I had from Fiona (in reservations) or John (Catering/Dining) in the trip organisation. You made it so easy. Our ladies have commented on the excellent service by cheerful staff, the quality of the rooms and menu, and how everyone was made feel at home. A particular thanks for accommodating our last minute requests re garden bubbly reception etc.

We had stayed here last year for a birthday treat, and it was so good that 6 of us decided to go back again last weekend for another birthday treat. We weren't disappointed, this hotel is a great place to stay. We arrived early, dropped our bags at reception and headed off to Chawkes pub to watch the matches. When we eventually arrived back to the hotel, they had brought our bags up to the room themselves!(thanks). After dinner in one of the local restaurants, we went back to the hotel for a few night caps!! Slept very well, used the leisure next morning at 7.30 and boy was it relaxing. Breakfast was a real pleasure. A fantastic selection of fruits, cereals and yoghurts to choose from, then a cooked breakfast and any amount of coffee that we wanted. No rush, no fuss and nice banter with the staff. Well done to Dunraven Arms for making our stay a memorable one and can't wait to return again soon!

Room Tip: we stayed in room 41, it was a very spacious room with plenty of seating areas, loads of wardrobe sp...

We spent one night at the Dunraven Arms Hotel on our self drive tour of the west of Ireland. Adare is a delightful town with some fantastic restaurants and cafes on the main street.
We arrived at the hotel and received a warm welcome from the staff. We arrived at our room and on opening the door were amazed at the size of the room and a stunning 4 poster bed and a beautiful marble fireplace. We had a relaxing swim in the pool and then ate in the hotel's restaurant for dinner. OMG! Simply stunning food...try the lamb and the risotto and you will not be disappointed. The service in the restaurant was exceptional...this is a team who know customer service! Just as I thought it couldn't get better we then experienced probably the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel...there was a hot cooked ham in the centre of the room being carved by the head waiter to go with the hot breakfast buffet..yum! However best of all were the tall glasses containing alternate layers of fruit compote, yoghurt and granola..they made breakfast taste an incredible dessert! If you pick this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous Hotel, very comfortable room. Adare village very busy this weekend. Hotel full with weddings etc yet service was very personal and not a bit rushed. Breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very courteous and Mr. Hugh Murphy was in attendance at breakfast. all visitors seemed to be enjoying a good hotel experience

At the top of Main Street, easy access to all the best restaurants and pubs, this classic old hotel delivers a great stay. Wish they had Wifi, but otherwise comfortable, clean and convenient! Room was nice.

Our night at the Dunraven Arms Hotel, was our night to treat ourselves. It is an older, but very well kept and up to date facility. Even though there was a wedding party there that night, we were given a room away from it, and we didn't hear a thing. We had a high 4 poster bed, chair & loveseat, coffee tabel and desk, flat screen TV, big bathroom that had a separate sink & mirror area that had room for luggage and a safe.
