“A wedding at Adare.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

I stayed in the Manor back in October for a family wedding.. and was very excited about staying here. Upon arrival, we were impressed with the grounds of the Castle and the reception area. The wedding was very enjoyable and the food was very tasty, however I thought the room was rather small for dancing after the wedding. We stayed in the Manor that night and the girl on reception who checked us in was very friendly and walked us to our room downstairs, which was a good walk away from reception.

The room was very clean and spacious, the only downfall was a few of the tv channels were not working on our television. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel, the selection of food available was very impressive, however, the service was rather slow at our table that morning.(for a 5 star hotel)

The day after the wedding I went to the Lavender Cottages for a facial and it was very enjoyable, the staff there were very friendly and welcoming (I will definitely return again).

Upon checking out at the Manor, we were slightly disappointed there were different members of staff on reception, and I thought they was not as friendly as the other staff from the day of the wedding. I asked one for directions earlier that morning and I just thought they were not very helpful.

Overall however, we enjoyed our stay at the Manor and would recommend it for the view of the breathtaking grounds.

From the moment you drive into this charming town, you know that you are somewhere magical. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the staff incredibly gracious and helpful, and the room was magnificent. The views outside the window reminded one of being in Versailles in Paris. The hotel restaurants were close by, (great when it rained,) and the staff drove you to them as well. The food was so great that we ate there every night.
The town itself was adorable, had great pubs and really terrific shopping if your husband was golfing on their world class green.
The location is nearby to all the great attractions, whether you travel by bus, train, tour, or private car, which they will arrange for you. This is a great honeymoon venue as well. Enjoy

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the gardens...

My husband and I stayed at the Manor for one night recently- wished we could have stayed longer! Everything about the place is magical- from the staff, the food, the room-which was by far the nicest room I have ever stayed in- anywhere! Such nice amenites in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, and the view from our room, which overlooked the front of the Manor was breath taking! You never have to leave to the grounds, there is so much to see and do. Just a walk on the grounds leaves you feeling like you are in a dream.

Be sure to do the tour of the manor with Patrick, it was so interesting- he seriously knows the entire history of the manor. Takes place daily- ask at the front desk.

Dinner at the Carriage House was superb, the salmon was cooked just right and the service was excellent!

Look forward to going back again- and again and again!

I stayed here for a few days attending a wedding taking place at the Manor. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived on the grounds to the moment we left. The staff couldn't have been more curtious and made this a wedding to remember. The grounds and the manor are absolutely breathtaking. The villas offered plenty of space and comfort and the golf course was the best i have ever played. The next time I am in Ireland I will make it a point to go back to Adare.

I stayed here for a few days on business, it's wonderful. Lovely picturesque location and surroundings. Great service and food with an old world feel but relatively modern inside.
Facilities where excellent and the golf course is beautiful.

My daughters and I spent several wonderful days at Adare Manor during our tour of Ireland. Our rooms were beautifully appointed, and the staff took care of our every need. One member of our group went cross country riding at nearby stables while the rest of us visited the charming village of Adare with thatched roof cottages and colorful summer gardens. While there, we strolled the grounds, enjoyed a spa visit and delicious full Irish breakfasts guaranteed to keep you going for a full days' touring. Indeed, we are looking forward to one day returning to Adare Manor.

Adare Manor is truly fit for royalty. I was with three friends on a weeklong golf outing and Adare was truly a highlight of our visit. The Manor is magnificent, the golf course is in spectacular condition and the staff at both were first class.
