Brilliant place for a bit of Posh Nosh. Great view of the golf course and good atmosphere.
A "Have to" visit for a lovely walk around the grounds which are well kept after having a lovely meal.

“Sunshine transforms this course.”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

I played Adare this week in an inter club competition and while I had been there before it had been during the winter. Sunshine transforms this course which we found to be in excellent condition, just stay out of the rough. I would highly recommend Adare to anybody who wished to play a challenging parkland course where you make use of all the clubs in your bag. The 18th hole is a great finish to a round with loads of risk/reward options. The staff were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful, the food afterwards was very welcome and the rack of lamb I had must have come from the hills of Kerry, it was melt in your mouth gorgeous. Couldn't fault anything but can highly recommend a visit.

“Do Not Have to Be a Mountain Goat”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Like most of us, the coastal courses of the Mid and South - west of Ireland are some of golf's Meccas ( Waterville, Tra Li, Ballybunion, Lahinch, etc...), let us not forget Old Head. If you need a respite from the hills and confines of these courses, This is a must play. This course hosted the Irish Open in 2 consecutive years with Padraig Harrington as one of its champions. It is probably one of the closest representatives in Ireland of a US style golf course. I made it look difficult at times, but it is a very playable course and picturesque in its own right. The Adare Manor which hosts the course is a great stay whether in the Manor itself or in the multi bedroom / bathroom villas (see review). The golf staff is attentive and the 19th hole can be whatever you want it to be. I stayed in the villas which could easily handle a guys or couples retreat. The adjacent town is within parking distance within the confines of the grounds and has several restaurants and pubs worthy of visiting. The Manor itself has an excellent restaurant and a Tack Room pub of its own with Irish music almost nightly...

“Fantastic course and wonderful experience”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Our caddie, Ollie was a gem and this Trent Jones Sr course is fun to play and absolutely gorgeous. We booked the stay and play which is a two night stay at Adare Manor. Stay here for sure. Fabulous estate and such great service on and off the course. Next time we will stay here longer.
