“Love family restaurants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

Popped in to the Arches yesterday after a weekend away and it was a lovely way to end it. Food was delicious and nicely arranged. Service was amazing, friendly sweet and not fake, felt at home the minute we walked in. Really enjoyed my meal and wasn't the most expensive, worth paying for. Will go back again and have told alot of people about it.

“Staff make the place stand out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

I hadn't eaten here in years but went for a nice evening meal with my partner. The restaurant was still as welcoming as ever with really friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us and had a good few laughs with us too.

I had hoped to try the lamb again as i remembered it used to be really good but its was so good still that it was all gone, but the chicken and ham was very good as a second choice.

The desert menu was small but good and even had plum pudding on it. It isn't an inexpensive place to eat but what you pay for in food and service makes it very good value for money and your not left hungry after it either

“Just not good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2014

We had Easter dinner at this restaurant and were very disappointed. The food was just not good but still expensive. In an area that is abundant with fresh fish and beef, the fish was frozen and the beef was tasteless. However, the service and attentiveness was above par.

“Delish!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

What a find…The restaurant has an oldie worldy feel about it with drapes and antique paintings on the wall. My two friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals but mine was certainly the peche de la resistance!! I ordered a cold salmon salad and apart from being one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten (and I love my salads), it looked divine. I had to admire it first for 5 minutes it was so beautifully presented before the hunger drove me to eat it and it tasted every bit as good as it looked …it was delish!

“Good food and good service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2014

Stopped into the Arches on the way from Belfast to Killarney, very impressed.

The waiters, 2 guys, were both very friendly and professional. The other places we checked out were both 29 euro for 2 courses, Arches was 26 euro for 4 courses, and we were both absolutely stuffed. One of the best meals of the trip.

Highly recommended if you are passing or staying in Adare.
