“comfiest bed ever!”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

Spent one night here for my friends wedding. Bridie and Sean were very friendly and helpful. We were walking distance from the hotel which was very handy! Had one of the best nights sleep ever! Bed and pillows were amazing.

I stayed in this lovely B&B for two nights in October 2013. I had arrived from California at 9am on a rainy midweek morning and was able to check in early. Bridie Collins is a total sweetheart and Sean is a true gentleman and they both gave me invaluable tips on the area. The adjacent Sean Collins bar was a warm cozy haunt to settle back in after my long flight. The room itself was great. Really quiet, cable TV, and a coffee and tea machine I made full use of. The bed was big and comfy, and I had two great nights of uninterrupted slumber. For the price this little gem was a find, and I promised myself i'd return one day next time i'm in the west of Ireland. I've never bothered to give a tripadvisor review before, but I honestly feel compelled after my experience in the Adare Village Inn. Thanks Bridie, Thanks Sean....

Room Tip: The beef stew in Sean Collins Bar was mind blowing.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Inn. Found outstanding treatment from Bridie and Sean. They are a lovely couple that know how to make the clients feel at home and not pressured at all. Rooms were very confortable and clean. Location is great. We went to a wedding and the church is very near (walking distance if not raining). Hairdresser 5 doors away. Great breakfasts and other meals within walking distance.
We will return to visit Bridie and Sean if we ever are in Ireland again.
Thank you

We stayed in the village inn for two nights while attending a wedding in adare. Sean made us feel welcome, and we had a few nice chats about dogs !
The Inn has 5 bedrooms, so you have ( hopefully ) less chance of a rowdy crowd disturbing you. We had no problems of this type anyway. The inn is quiet and we had no disturbances from road noise.
The room itself is tastefully decorated, and very clean. Not particularly big but as my title says it does what it needs to. Iron and ironing board available for communal use, and there is a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The shower is excellent, and shower gel and shampoo were supplied.
Adare is a charming busy touristy village. We had breakfast a short step away from the inn at the market place cafe and it was very good.
Overall i would have no hesitation in recommending adare village inn to anyone who wants to stay in adare but not pay the much higher prices at the local hotels.

We stayed one night recently in the summer. We received a warm welcome from Sean & Bridie. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Adare Village was beautiful in the sunshine. Sean always had a welcome smile and good food and beer available in the adjoining Pub. We really enjoyed our stop in Adare.

Just stayed 3 nights in The Village Inn. Fabulous rooms, very clean, extremely comfortable double bed. The room had a tv, plenty of wardrobe storage, hairdryer & tea & coffee making facilities. The Village Inn is to the left at the top of the main street so its in a brilliant location! I would definately stay here again!

Without exaggeration this hostel accomodated us with one of the best beds in Ireland concering quality and size. King size bed with crispy linen, thick not worn out matresses and a clean, cosy and quiet room, even though our room was situated to the main road. Sean and Bridie are excellent hosts, warm, friendly and funny with sufficient tips for the stay and the upcoming destinations. We were lucky and could park the car in front of the hotel.
Greetings from Peter & Ju (Austria)
