Stopped here for a lunchtime snack. Thought we would start with their vegetable soup and brown bread. What a disappointment. The soup was straight from a packet and not even properly reconstituted. It was horrible. The accompanying brown bread was ok though far from delicious. Had intended having coffee and cake afterwards but thought again. Went elsewhere for much better fare.

Little bakery at the end of the bridge so location ideal. Parking over the road beside the river. Enjoyed meringue with coffee. Seating upstairs the windows overlook river and the sun floods in if you are fortunate. Tables and chairs dated but who cares.

Popped into Coffeys for a coffee and cake with the family all pretty reasonable. My wife had a piece of quiche and it came with a small amount of coleslaw and potato salad. Would recommend.

Coffey's Pastry Case is a well established coffee shop in Carrick-on-Shannon. It a simple café, which serves a range of teas and coffees as well as vegetable soup, lasagne, quiche, pizza, sausage rolls, a selection of sandwiches made to order and a selection of cakes and buns. The staff are lovely! Service with a smile is the norm in this establishment. If you're looking to enjoy a coffee and a chat with a friend or to shelter from a shower this is the place to go. It's perfectly located at the edge of the town, making it no more than five minutes away from any of the town's shops.

I always visit Coffey's when staying with family in Leitrim. It's a great place to feed and water the children without paying a fortune. I heartily reccomend the cream meringues – make sure to ask for extra cream!
