Anna and Sandro – 14 luglio 2014. Harbour Hill Farm is a very lovely place to spend one’s holiday. We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a little way out of Kinsale but the views on the harbour and the country are really spectacular, not least the beautiful and well maintained garden. Our room was spacious, well presented, very quiet and tidy, with a bay view. There is a pleasant living room where to have breakfast. The B&B owners are very welcoming and cooked a mean breakfast - very tasty and much of it locally produced. Very relaxing. We would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. “

Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a little way out of Kinsale and has spectacular views, not least the beautiful garden which the whole family was tending the evening we were there. Our room was spacious and well presented. Siobhan and Nigel were very welcoming and cooked a mean breakfast - very tasty and much of it locally produced. A very pleasant place to spend the last night of our hols.

Siobhan treats everyone like a friend! She is an excellent host and provides the best breakfast ever. The B&B is in a fabulous location overlooking Kinsale, with wonderful views all around, and lovely well maintained gardens. Very relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

My husband and I recently spent a night at this lovely B&B. It is situated in a wonderful location only 5 minutes drive from Kinsale town. The view from our room at the front of the house (#5, one of the smaller rooms) was stunning, overlooking lovely grounds, with Kinsale Harbor in the distance. Bedroom was a bit small for a longer stay, but surely adequate for one night. It was unusually warm during our stay so the room was a bit stuffy. We tried opening the window a bit, but the nats wanted to join us, so we had to close it. The bathroom was a decent size with great water pressure and good amenities. Siobhan and Nigel were very sweet and attentive hosts and their home is lovely, with a wonderful sitting room and a great sun room. You can choose to eat breakfast in the sun room, but the formal breakfast room (where we ate) is also quite nice. Either one will suit your needs. The breakfast was delicious with a nice spread of breads, jams, cereals, homemade yogurt, and several local homemade cheeses that were simply luscious! Hot breakfast with good organic choices cooked to order was just perfect. We were sorry that our stay was so short, but if we are ever in the Kinsale area again, we will be sure to return here!

Room Tip: Our room was a bit small, but okay for a one-night stay. If you are staying longer, you might want t...

My wife and I spent four fantastic nights here during our recent 18 day visit to Ireland and Scotland. The setting was was absolutely beautiful, with the property situated on a hill overlooking Kinsale Harbor and surrounded by gorgeous flower gardens and rolling green hills. The view from our room (room #1) was simply spectacular looking down the hill to the harbor. Breakfast was delightful with lots of both cold and hot choices perfectly prepared. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with coffee and tea preparation available in the room. Siobhan and Nigel are fantastic hosts -- we almost felt like family! Both were so helpful with suggestions for places we might enjoy visiting as well as recommendations for local restaurants to try for Kinsale's nationally renowned seafood. Access to Kinsale village was a 5 minute drive, and travel to Cork, Waterford, Cobh, Blarney, as well as points further away was easily accessed as well. Harbor Hill Farm was definitely one of our favorite places to stay during our travels, and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Kinsale.

Kinsale is a wonderful place to visit along the southern coast in Ireland. Small town. We even watched a local Hurley Match. Harbour Hill Farm was a perfect stop to recharge our batteries. Breakfast weas wonderful with home made jams and Yogurt! do Not confuse this place with Harbour VIEW B & B down the road. Lovely flowers and grounds and a great sun room to sit and enjoy WiFi and cards.
