Stayed here in early June 2014. The facility is very nice and our room was of moderate size but quite comfortable. They have a central living room that is available to all guests and is the best place to pick up their wifi. Breakfast is served at a large table in the kitchen where you sit with other guests. This is great for creating conversations and getting recommendation on places to go a things to see. Given the limited seating, you are scheduled for a specific time slot to have breakfast, which works just fine.

Breakfast was good with the standard fare of dry cereal, fruit and breads. Our hosts custom cooked each person specific breakfast request.

The B&B is located just 5 minutes from the heart of Kinsale.

We would stay there again if given the chance.

Room Tip: Avoid the room on the ground floor. Can be rather noisy at night when people leave the pubs/restaurants and traverse the street in front of the B&B

Highly recommended. We spent two nights at Tom and Chrissie's olde Bakery B&B. They are lovely, gracious hosts, helpful in any way they can be. The location is convenient to downtown Kinsale, and the harbor. The room was spacious, decorated and comfortable. The breakfasts were large and scrumptious.

We stayed one night at The Olde Bakery B and B. The location is great for exploring Kinsale and as it is back from the Main Street, it is quiet. The room had a very comfortable bed and was clean and cosy (not small, just cosy). Breakfast the next morning was fabulous--an amazing spread, and I highly recommend the scrambled eggs with salmon. This one of of the two B and Bs we stayed in in over a month of travels that had exceptional breakfasts. And really good coffee too. Chrissie, our host, explained that her set up was unusual in that all the guests eat at one table in her kitchen--this really lends itself to conversation. I think this spot is well known to Rick Steves' readers, so you will find many of them there.

Tom and Chrissie welcome you like family in their home and at breakfast. They are gracious and loving. We stayed 2 nights - our room was very comfortable, quiet location, easy walk to town, breakfast was more than plentiful and absolutely delicious!! Wish we could have stayed longer or bring them home with us as this was our very favorite B&B of our entire trip through Ireland. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here ... you won't regret a moment!!

Room Tip: The rooms at The Olde Bakery are shown on their website. We had a double en suite on the first floor. Even though it's on the street, it was VERY quiet.

It was like you were at your grand parent's home. Chrissie and Tom could not be any more kind and hospitable. They really care that you are comfortable and having a good time. The room was spacious, clean, nice comfortable mattress, nice fluffy and warm comforter. The bathroom was large, plenty of hot water with good pressure. The breakfast was amazing. There is one large table which is lovely for socializing with the other guests. Our breakfast took an hour and a half. You can walk to pretty much anywhere within 5-10 minutes. We can't wait to come back.
