We stayed at the Glen for 5 marvelous days. Wonderful place, great breakfasts and lovely surroundings. Couldn't be better. The nights were peaceful, the views absolutely stunning, and Guy and Diana were always helpful.

We stayed with Guy and Diana as part of a large booking for a local wedding. The care that was taken to make sure we were comfortable and happy was unlimited. Our rooms were warm, clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The charming sitting room really made The Glen more like a small hotel than a B&B. The breakfast was just fab, no words can pay proper tribute to Guy's wonderful soda bread, and were any eggs ever more golden or fresher? The setting and grounds are peerless, a perfect spot from which to explore West Cork.

We recently had an amazing stay at the Glen Country House (3 nights). The location is absolutely stunning, with the B&B nestled in among beautiful Irish farmland that is surrounded by the coastline. We actually all agreed that the scenery surrounding the B&B was much more beautiful than the scenery we saw on our tour of the Ring of Kerry! The establishment itself was gorgeous and welcoming and the breakfast was very high quality and so, so delicious!! (I highly recommend the french toast...and the pancakes...and the eggs...and the yoghurt/fruit compote buffet! Basically everything was amazing). In sum, it truly was a wonderful stay and please do not let the one negative review deter you from staying here - the owners are anything but rude and dishonest. I would not hesitate recommending this B&B to anyone and if you're searching for an Irish B&B to stay at, your search should end here. Enjoy!!

I am from this part of Ireland originally and can't recommend this location highly enough. Although listed as a B & B, The Glen Country House has the comfort, quality and charm of a 5 star boutique hotel anywhere in the world. The welcome is terrific, food first class and, as you will see from the pictures, the rooms are beautifully and tastefully furnished. It is worth your while to take a trip along the coast road from Cork to Timoleague and stop in at this gem of a place. Enjoy the peace, the sounds of the rooks and the wonderful views. Wish I wish there with you.

Our stay at the Glen Country House was an absolute delight. Hosts Guy and Diana were warm and welcoming, and they made the best brown bread we had throughout our stay in Ireland! My mom and I stayed for 3 days as a part of a mother daughter trip and both equally enjoyed ourselves. Our room was cozy and comfortable and the sitting room with fireplace was lovely. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. Great coffee! Within easy driving distance to Cork, Kinsale, and Bandon which was a favorite. The countryside in Killbrittain itself was beautiful and very relaxing. We intend to make it back to Ireland and the Glen Country House.
