I love this place! A lovely young local couple run it who always provide great service. The place is clean and charming and the food is gorgeous and much more than you'd expect from a cafe, especially their specials. I love sitting outside too when the sun is shining, I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch

Visited for afternoon tea on a particularly busy day due to the influx of cruise ship visitors in town. Many items were already out if stock due to the extra visitors but that in itself wasn't a problem. There was a limited choice of cakes available; I opted for a slice of carrot cake which I was assured was "homemade" by the staff - sadly as soon as I took the first bite I knew (as a home baker myself) I knew it wasn't homemade as it tasted powdery, with some kind of artificial topping as opposed to the usual cream cheese & icing sugar mix on a proper homemade carrot cake - very disappointing.

Also, sadly of all the dozens of restaurants where I've eaten over the 4 weeks if my visit, service here was the least friendly too......& it is very expensive for what is offered / served.

Had lunch here today. Ordered a spicy vegetable wrap but got a salad wrap with a small amont of dressing. My partner had the goats cheese tartlet which was delicious however the salads of the day were not accompanying this as the menu stated. One salad was just red cabbage and pumpkin seeds and no beetrot as indicated on the menu. However the service was good and waiter very friendly hence would return but choose alternative dishes.

We were visiting Kinsale for the day and after passing several Fish & Chip places found this small café. Great variety of dishes and all products seemed very fresh and carefully cooked. I would strongly recommend it if you are looking for healthy food at very good price. They have a lovely terrace you can enjoy if the whether allows it.
