Myself and my wife had a great time aboard the board called "The Jaz" on the weekend of 24th August. We done a two day trip and stayed over night on board the boat.
Our skipper, Charlie, was very knowledgeable and thought us sailing techniques and procedures. He was great in the way he involved everyone in; steering, putting the sails up and down and tacking and jibing. It was an experience not to be forgotten for a long time.
The cabins were comfortable for sleeping purposes. It was some feeling waking up to the noise of the sea and seagulls first thing in the morning.
Kinsale is a very scenic part of the country for sailing. This could be reflected to the number of boats on the water. The disabled sailing championships were on at this time so that added to the numbers of boats.
