Extended family - 22 persons - 'took over' the B&B and were made to feel it was our home-from-home! Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended for those staying in this wonderful town and like genuine, down-to earth hospitality.

We arrived in the middle of the Clipper Round the World Race and the town was a bit crazy. Old Presbytery was our two night haven in the midst of the throngs of visitors.
Philip and Noreen are great hosts and a lot of fun to chat with. Noreen, in particularly, was very helpful as to what to do and see. We had planned on spending a day in Cork. They discouraged us and said there was so much to do in Kinsale. They were definately correct. One full day was not enough.
Our room was roomy, clean, comfortable, and private. We had a family room to ourselves with 2 beds and a sofa bed. Late at night was a bit noisy but we attributed it to all the activities surrounding the clipper ship's stop there. The home was well decorated.. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Free internet was a plus.
Everything in town is an easy walk from The Old Presbytery. We will be back.

We stayed in the Penthouse of the Old Presbytery and it was lovely. Comfortable, roomy, and just fun with a spiral staircase in the center of the room and sitting lounge upstairs. The extra rollaway bed allowed us to spread out alittle more, important when traveling with teenage boys. A DVD library and in-room Wifi access were also convenient. The hotel itself, is convenient located to shopping, pubs, restaurants and the harbor. On arrival, we were given suggestions of restaurants and pubs. The restaurant turned out to be one of our favorites in Ireland. The breakfast was great as well.

Philip and Noreen are excellent hosts who go out of their way to help. When the volcano first erupted & it looked as though we might not be able to get to Ireland, Noreen's immediate response was 'don't worry, there will be no penalty if this happens' which was very reassuring & I knew then that we would enjoy The Old Presbytery.

Knowing that we would be arriving after a long flight from Australia & that we would be in Kinsale around noon, the room had been prepared and we were able to check in early which was typical of the thoughtful service we received.

Everything about The Old Presbytery was first class. The room was a decent size, the bed very comfortable and the area, while close to the centre of the village, was peaceful and quiet.

The breakfast was as good as we had during our 14 day tour of Ireland. All in all, a great experience.

This was our 2nd night in Ireland and one of the most comfortable places we stayed. Not only were the rooms spacious, but the beds were wickedly comfortable. Philip and Noreen took great care of us and we loved their cat and dog who also welcome guests. The fact that they have 2 computers is so nice and the breakfast was amazing. I would stay here again...the location was minutes from pubs and shopping. We walked out to Charles Fort the next morning for some exercise too. Free parking was a bonus.

My wife and I went for a long weekend and stayed here. Room was lovely (the hotel looks much better from the inside than the outside) breakfast excellent but the standout part of the visit was the service from Noreen and her team including arranging a taxi to shuttle us around all weekend. If you want a taxi in Kinsale ask for Tom Canty!
