“Very good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2014

Very good for both lunch and dinner. Some very good sandwiches and seafood. Negatives is it can be quite loud especially for hard of hearing and the seating in certain areas can be quite squished.
Overall, very good food and service.

“Lovely place even in a stormy weather and best seafood chowder in Ireland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Both service and food were excellent to meet high standard if not the highest. From mussel, prawn, salmon, shrimp to chowder and steak every single bits was beautifully cooked and lovely presented. The highlight was the tempura prawn, simply delicious. The seafood chowder is one of the best I had in Ireland. It was great experience even the weather was stormy. Have to go back and visit again in the summer :)

“Just splendid!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013 via mobile

Have eaten here each summer since Dunes opened! The staff are extremely friendly & helpful, somedays they are really worked to the bone but always manage a kind welcome & great service!

Food is delicious from the steak to the gigantic fish & chips but my absolute favourite is the chicken sandwich. It's excellent value & so enjoyable after a walk on the beach! Another favourite is their hot chocolate & homemade lemon muffin, which is a real treat on the cold days. After a swim/surf I would recommend their steak, ask for the garlic butter & pepper sauce, both delicious - it comes with a decent salad & chips too.

Value is very good. Although my only downside is the wasps, whether your dining in or outside dunes, have your newspaper at the ready for the dreaded wasps & cover young children's buggies with the appropriate net! Dunes is very family friendly & also has great entertainment organised on certain evenings! I hope you enjoy!!

“Best Sandwiches in Ireland for Quality & Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2013

Have eaten in the Dune Bar & Bistro many times. The food quality & service has always been of the highest standard.
I must say the open & closed sandwiches are the best I have eaten in the country and at an affordable price
The recent completed development on the sea front enhances the whole offering at Inchydoney

A must visit place for anybody

“Good, expensive and very limited”

not too much choice, however we did find something nice for each other. They over use crab claws.... almost in every each meal!
