“Yummy Yummy Yummy!”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

I took the kids for an evening meal (their mum was away on business). The place has recently been re-painted, and it looks really well. More clean-cut/modern theme than the woody theme before. I ordered the turbot and it was beautifully cooked. Veg well presented and really well cooked, just right. The sauce was exquisite. The highlight though was the salmon, cheese potatoes. Absolutely totally delicious. Service was good. Manager patrolling the troops. Always good to see. We all left totally satisfied. The kids were also very pleased with their meals. Well done to the team there.

“Beautiful meal, lovely place”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Our friend recommended this hotel as a lovely place to have lunch with gorgeous views. We went for dinner this week instead and the weather was not so good but it was well worth the visit. The Dunes restaurant itself is very stylish and comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and as for the food - OMG it was wonderful. My husband and I both had seafood chowder which was chock full of seafood and just divine. For main course I had the Thai curry with basmati rice which had loads of fish in it - big chunks of salmon, crab claws, mussels and white fish. My husband had the trio of fish with a beautiful mound of cubed potato with a lovely flavour of garlic to it. I was hard pushed to decide who had the best meal out of us but we were both more than happy and would definitely recommend people to go there and would not hesitate to revisit.

“Fantastic food in a great setting”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Amazing food in a relaxed and clean environment with a lovely atmosphere overlooking Inchydoney beach and the Virgin Mary's Point. I had the crab claws and beef medallions which were delicious!!!

“Lunch, great value”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

I ordered an open chicken sandwich and it was huge! It came with side salad and tortilla chips and a special dip. Go for the smaller sandwich for kids as it's good value.

“Hot weather = overcrowding = delay in service”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Food was standard and somewhat overpriced for what it was (e.g. glass of wine €7,25), and we had to ask the waiter to check on our meal after waiting half an hour+ for two sandwiches. He kept avoiding eye contact which annoyed us.
