This place is the best interaction with owls you could want, you can see them up close and learn about each one in your own time. Our little girl specifically asked to return here for her birthday so she could see her favourite owl Lucy.
Sam is a wonderful person and has so much time for everyone, she makes each visit so special and goes out of her way to give kids as much attention as they want and of course is very knowledgeable about the birds she cares for.
Would recommend a family portrait if you can, the owls are so well behaved and Sam gets it all done so quickly and takes the best photographs, they're lovely to have as a momento.
Gift shop area is so well stocked and so reasonable, it's a lovely spot to visit.
Can't recommend this place enough and no doubt my daughter will want to go back again and again.

We had a wonderful time at the birds of prey educational centre. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Sam who owns the birds and has extensive falconry experience was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The owls and birds of prey were very well looked after - well worth a visit

My six-year-old twins (a boy and a girl) and I visited the Birds of Prey Educational Centre last month during our stay in Trabolgan. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would encourage all visitors to Trabolgan and the Middleton area not to miss this wonderful experience!
Sam, Áine and Trish were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived at the centre and it was clear that they all love what they do, get on with children and adults alike and more importantly, they love the beautiful birds they care so well for. My son was fascinated with Genie, the transformer owl and my daughter still talks about her favourite owl, Lucy. The girls shared lots of interesting facts about the owls in their care but special mention must go to Sam - she has the most wonderful way about her and easily engaged with my children and I with her vast knowledge of all things owl, TV/movies and Oscar Wild to name but a few of the things we talked about! She is also naturally gifted at photography and we are delighted we chose to get photos taken during our visit.
If we are in Trabolgan or that area again, the Birds of Prey Educational Centre will be our first stop!
On that note: IMPORTANT! When you arrive at the Birds of Prey centre, you receive a gold wristband when you pay the entrance fee. This wristband can in fact be used to visit the centre any time you like during your stay in Trabolgan, without further payment. I wish we’d known that during our stay! We visited on our second last day and of course, returned the morning of our departure.
