Found this place by chance when we were driving from north Kerry to Blarney and thought it was something different and gave it a go.
As a group of 6 adults (3 male, 3 female) the girls were slightly apprehensive as they thought it would be just for the boys.
We had a little look around and ended up doing the little make-your-own workshop, all of us left very happy and have our own little figurines to remember the experience.

What a gorgeous little factory in the middle of nowhere! Did the tour and was totally in awe of how these incredibly tiny figurines are cast and then each hand painted individually. My two girls got to make their own fairy figures and also paint them. They were absolutely delighted. A must for anyone to see not only the model enthusiast. The lady who assisted us with the demonstration was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her work and a pleasure to watch and listen to.

We recently visited the toy soldier factory near Macroom Cork. We really enjoyed the time there. The staff were really great with the children. It was a little gem of a visit! The chlidren enjoyed moulding and painting little figures they picked out themselves. It was really great to see an enterprise in the village and so different from the usual visitior attractions. I would highly reccomend it to families. D Cork

We live about 20 miles away and finally got around to visiting with our 4 kids aged 5 to 10 on a very busy Aug Thursday.it only costs e7 per person to cast your mini figure of choice from molten metal.you can choose from soldiers, angels etc.after your moulded figure is turned out you can decorate it with a range of paints, which is great fun for everyone
a tour of the factory is ok ,but one could spend ages browsing the range of exquisite miniatures for sale.well worth a visit

Well we saw the signs and just kept following them until we arrived at this factory. i did not know what to expect but it was amazing. The figures on display are tiny but completely detailed, it was fascinating to watch the process of making and painting them. My 13 year old made a fairy magnet and then carried on to paint it. She was delighted with the result and it looked fantastic. The staff were very helpful. There is lots of models for sale and moulds for casting your own. We purchased a Nativity Set for our daughter to make...although it was expensive it is something she will always have that she will be able to say she made herself. The prices are wholesale...so you save money anyway. There was complimentary tea/coffee available too. If we lived nearer I would definitely book a birthday party there..it is different and educational at the same time. Would love to spend some time there myself...making and painting.
