La Sirena is a great mexican restaurrant and the food is amazing. However, during my visit there the staff didnt seem to be too interested in doign their job, everything was delayed , we were waiting 10mins to get a menu and let to wait a considerable amount of time to order. There seemed to be a group of people in the restaurant at the same time as us that all staff members seemed to know - all their attention was focus on that group and all other customers were left waiting. It was frustrating at the time!!

Food was lovely, but staffing were not very inviting.

As a family we brought our parents here as a surprise last Sunday to celebrate their Ruby Wedding anniversary. A a bit of a daring choice ....not your average Sunday roast if you know what I mean! We were a party of 12, all ages and were put at ease very quickly after contacting La Sirena. We were offered many choices and none of us were dissapointed. My folks had delicious lime Hake cooked perfectly on a bed of mexican rice. The veggie unusually had too much to choose from incl hand cut nachos, fajitas, burritos and whatever you asked the chef for really, settled on the nachos and fajitas and was very happy! The wings had a fabulous kick and as for the beer mussells - huge - nom nom. There wasn't an uncleared plate, great food for sharing. We came with balloons and bling and were warmly welcomed with jugs of Sangria on the table. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere is cosy, a great all rounder, for family during the day and now.... we are planning our next girlie night out to try the cosmos and soak up that fabulous view at night too! :)

Tip: Wear an elasticated waistband!

My wife and I ate in this restaurant on a Friday night recently. They do " 2 courses for 18.95 " For a starter I had mussels cooked in beer. Absolutely delicious. Main course was a burrito which was spicy, but not overpowering. My wife had pork and beef meatballs in a tomato sauce, and again this was delicious, although really filling. For desert she had ice cream. Overall a good quality meal at a good price, and excellent service.
