“Good Food Poor Service”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

The restaurant was completely full with a few large tables. Service was very slow, surely when they are booked fully they would put on enough Kitchen Staff, as this seems to be where the problem lay.
Restaurant was very noisy.
Decor very bland
Only one Ladies toilet so queue all the time
Food when it arrived was very good.
There were four of us and all enjoyed the meal.

Pity about the lack of ambience

“Great food at realistic prices”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We visited early on Saturday evening and ordered from the early bird menu (2 courses for €19.95). We had a selection of starters - highlights were the Keftedes (pork meatballs) & grilled halloumi. Hummus was just a bit too garlickly. Main courses were all delicious, particularly the chicken souvlaki which was tender and succulent. My daughtesr chicken pilaff was also lovely. Accompanying chips were excellent. This was our first visit for quite a while and it is great to see that the high standards have been maintained.

“A must try, especially for the Veggie Meze!”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Myself and two friends visited Cape Greko for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't busy which was nice as we were very well looked after and there was no rush to take back our table.
We ordered vegetarian mezes as the selection looked great, grilled halloumi, marinated aubergine, keftedes, grilled peppers, beetroot with garlic sauce, tzatziki dip, hummus dip and pita bread and a great Greek Salad. These were really good value, there was a lot of food on the table and we could all pick and choose as we liked. The aubergine and keftedes were the highlights for me. Desserts weren't as impressive but did the trick. Our waitress was really accommodating and offered us choices that weren't on the menu - a nice touch.

“Delicious Greek Food”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

Our second visit to Cape Greko and the food was as good as on the first occasion. For starters we had Tzatziki with warm pita bread and Melitzanes - grilled aubergines with mixed peppers and a little feta cheese - both delicious. The Lamb Tava was substantial with tender pieces of lamb and Cape Greko's prawns in ouzo sauce - mouthwatering (very rich). It was Monday night and therefore quiet and lacking a little in atmosphere.

“Nice, but not great”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

As we booked early, we had a lovely round table by the window, which was appreciated. The staff were friendly but unfortunately the service was very slow. The meze platter was nice, but could have been nicer; the hummus in particular was a let-down. The chicken souvlaki was very good but my friend's lamb souvlaki was very tough and dry. We got chocolate fudge cake for dessert, which again was unfortunately a let-down. My friend did not seem overjoyed with the baklava either. All-in-all dinner here was an enjoyable experience but I don't think I would go out of my way to return.
