After a long journey traveling through Ireland we arrived at Greensland Bed & Breakfast. We felt welcomed in our home away from home from the minute we knocked on the door. The owner Diedra was VERY pleasant and accommodating and made sure to give us helpful hints before we headed into Dublin for our two day visit. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was excellent. Could not have had better service or a better hostess! Thank you Again Diedra!

After reading the reviews of several Bed and Breakfast, we chose Greenlands B and B. My wife and are are nearing the end of our travels in Ireland and were looking for a place relatively close to Dublin. When we arrived, we were greeted by Diedra, our wonderful hostess. The rooms are large and cozy. We have stayed in many so called 4 star B and B in Ireland, but this one topped them all. Diedra is a very dedicated public servant. She loves the company everyone. She introduced us to our accommodations. We asked her where to eat and she directed us towards the Man O' War pub. Excellent choice. We were quite welcomed in her home and it was pleasing to have a great conversation with her. Unfortunately, she will be ending her stint with the B&B business within the next couple of weeks. It is a shame to lose a great hostess. If you are here in the next couple of weeks, I would suggest that you attempt to get a room at this charming little B&b. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

After a week of staying at B&Bs across the country (Navan to Achill to Galway to Tipperary), we FINALLY found a place that felt like and we wished we could call we could call "home"- Ms. Deidre's "Greenlands" in Lusk!

It truly feels like a hotel where Ms. Deidre knows your name.

Greenlands has BEAUTIFUL grounds, spacious, private rooms with televisions, a wonderfully warm and strong shower and linens in our en-suite bathroom, and two HUGE Super-King size beds our double room.

The guest dining room is large and spacious with a turf fire, leather couches and 600+ channels of crystal-clear cable TV for our (and our little ones') viewing pleasure.

Cakes and teas were available at all hours (brownies too!), and the breakfast menu was as extensive as it was delicious in the morning.

We can literally see Dublin Airport from the road outside.

Next time we fly in, we'll spend at least our first two evenings here to shake off the jet lag and visit the city. We'll book our last night here too for as a cherry on top of our trip to the Emerald Isle, and for a convenient early morning trip to catch our flight out.

Do NOT miss Greenlands on YOUR trip!

We stayed at Greenlands for two nights.. There was an extra charge of 7.50 euros tax for each room. (We had three). The halls were noisy at night. A rug in the hall would have helped a good bit. The welcome was nice. My room was right before the entry door and I did not care for that. Food was very good. We would not return there.

Dear Sir.

Many thanks for your Review., and your kind words regarding your welcome and the Breakfast.

The Dublin supplement of 7.50 euros per room is payable from June to September and was not included in your Payment Voucher. I will order a mat for the Hall as you suggest, and would welcome you back.

Kindest Regards. Deirdre Fairbrother.

I was greeted with a very warm welcome and made to feel comfortable after arriving in a heavy downpour of rain. My room was clean and well presented. Off street parking was wonderful. Deirdre was a fantastic host and very easy to talk to and offered some great advice and suggestions for my travels around.
I will be back.
