“Fantastic Day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

Went here recently with my boyfriend. Zipit was challenging but so much fun. The bad weather did not hinder the experience as you are shaded for most part up in the trees! Great value for money. Will definitely be returning.

“Boda Borag”

had a really enjoyable time at Boda Borag as a part of a hen party. Whilst the activity was quite difficult we liked a challenge and the staff were really helpful.

“A magical place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

I have loved this park ever since I was brought as a child. It has majestic trees and a castle on the lake, you can visit the wishing chair or the Fairy Bridge. Nowadays I go for the walks, the peace, and a coffee. However, there is plenty of action for more active people with BodaBorg and Zippit.

The only thing I could in any way criticize is that the service inside the centre isn't as friendly or quick as I would expect in such a fantastic attraction.

“Recommend Zippit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

Thanks to other reviews we were prewarned about the €4 parking fee and a good example of how much this attraction can charge! We decided to pay €20 for 3 of us to do the Lough Key experience which was a walk through tunnels up a high tower and over some treetop walkways which whilst very nice was not worth paying 20 euros for and if this was in the North would have been a lot cheaper.

However a trip to Zippit was well worth the money and cost my son €20 with no time limit and was very well run with instructors on hand to help. Word of advice a couple of school trips were there at the time which made it very busy and slowed things down a lot so best avoid if groups in as he whizzed through it once it quitened down. Highly recommended!

“Group Camping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

What we did:
1st - We camped for one night in Lough Key Park
2nd - We went to Zipit
3rd - Food

The Camping:
So to start off I cannot praise the camp site enough, we had a group of 7 people all arriving at difference stages of the afternoon in ones and twos. Unfortunately i cannot remember the name of the guy who registered us but he was lovely, he remember the first person from our group who arrived and knew each one of us by name as we arrived. It was a busy enough weekend there too which made this all the more impressive. The facilities were very well kept, clean and tidy you would regularly walk into someone with a sweeping brush or changing bins. There is a amenities room with a pool table and plenty of space to eat if its lashing rain! The site is very quite with 3 different tent camping areas as well as separate spaces for Camper vans which were surrounded by trees so you would have privacy.

Zipit:
The Zipit is literally 3minutes to walk to and the scenery on the way is what would slow you down! The whole area is stunning, I was amazed how much use they made of the natural environment for activities as well a scenic photos. They guys in Zipit were hilarious, really nice and knew how to keep you relaxed, I'm not great with heights but a few falls from the zipit lines and you get over that very quick. You are very well harnessed in and if you do fall its only an inch or two...you'd fall further if you tripped over your shoe! The great thing about this was you could do any of the trials over and over if you didn't feel confident enough to try a higher version. Two of our group done the Red Line, it looked amazing while very tiring. You need your strength for this but its great fun.

The Food:
Back on the campsite - again we're not hard core campers - we ordered take away and they deliver to the site which was nice.
There is also a cafe beside Bora Borg which do a nice snacks, sandwiches and that sort of thing.

The people we met along the way were fantastic and I will recommend this to anyone who asks...and those who don't
