“Great location in Enniscrone.”

I was there for one month to play golf
The self catering town house was clean and well equipped for an extended stay. The owner Jim O'Regan was very helpful providing directions and suggestions for interesting places to visit when not playing golf.

Stayed there on 27th Oct .we had a wedding to go to in the next door hotel (ocean sands )....very handy. Only there for one night but I would definitely consider making a few days of it again with the kids . Clean rooms, lovely sized ensuite , really comfy double bed.....actually can't emphasis that enough, and the pillows!....meant to ask Jim where he got them...they were lovely!! Jim himself was welcoming , friendly and boy can he cook a breakfast, it was generous, tasty (the pudding) with lovely homemade brown bread and I'm a chef by the way.
Actually the only thing was that our room was kinda cold when we got there, I meant to mention it but forgot with the rush to wedding, but I'm sure if I did Jim would have done his best to sort it.
So all in all very impressed. And I don't usually go to the hassle of doin reviews but when some one working for themselves is doing their best esp in these tough times in the catering/hospitality trade and I guess all trades, I think they deserve some credit.

The house is beautiful with classic features. Large rooms. Sea view for breakfast which was very tasty. We were at wedding in diamond coast n it was dead handy to be able walk between the two, 5 min walk I'd say. I'd recommend it.

Stayed here for one night. Nice rooms, good value and very handy to everything in Enniscrone — just five minutes walk from the seaweed baths. The breakfast was great, notably with options for the vegetarians among us.

This has been my 17th year of visiting Coelnamara for periods of 1 - 2 weeks. For 12 of those years I came in Spring and Autumn to enjoy the excellent golf facilities, the beautiful long beach and the leisure centre, all of which are within walking distance. The house which is in the centre of the village is very comfortable, the wooden floors shine and the diningroom where mighty breakfasts are served is light, well appointed and looks out to the sea.
The welcome is always warm, there has always been meticulous attention to the needs of guests.
The en suite bedrooms are well furnished, some of which have a sea view. This excellent establishment and its long serving serving staff have a long history of returning satisfied clients.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the house have a sea view.

We have stayed in Ceol na Mara for many years and as far as we are concerned it is the best place to stay. It is centrally located in the middle of the village. Most rooms have lovely views of the sea. The breakfast is always delicious with the best of everything in it. The proprietor, Jim O’Regan is always so welcoming and hospitable to us and indeed to everyone who stays. It is definitely the place to stay when in Enniscrone.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were neat and clean and we had a view of the beach. Bathroom small but everything was very clean. Jim was very helpful with restaurants and directions. My husband left a jacket in a restaurant and we emailed Jim who found it, and mailed it to us in the next post. We received it within 3 days after returning to the states! This was above and beyond helpful. Thanks so much, Jim!
