we only stayed here for one night but i got two days fishing in.You can fish right outside the hotel and expect to catch pollock, conger, wrasse, mackerel on the rocky left and flatties on the sand to the right hand side of harbour. The food was excellent and staff friendly especially to our two young children. The room was a bit on the small side but still very good value for money.

We stayed in Creevy Pier Hotel for St Patricks night last year. We were a bit apprehensive about noise and asked to be put in a room far away from the bar but this proved to be unfounded. The bar itself was very pleasant and cosy. The room was okay, a bit on the small side and the bathroom was a bit tired looking, but clean enough. And as the others say, the views are lovely. And it is very reasonably priced so you can't expect a huge room.

The big problem was the lack of heat. To say the room was freezing doesn't even begin to describe it. I slept in my tracksuit (luckily clean) and was still unable to get warm. The bed felt damp with cold. At 5am I'd had enough and had to leave. As I was going I found another unfortunate couple wandering around who also hadn't been able to sleep because of the cold.

I had stayed there before and liked it. In the summertime! Unless they sort out the heat I'd say avoid. I'm Irish and used to being cold but this was beyond anything I've ever experienced!

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights & loved it. The room was basic but spacious & clean with a bath & shower. the staff were friendly & the locals very welcoming. The location right on the pier is amazing. Its ideally located for rossnowlagh strand (a beautiful beach - brilliant for walking & surfing), ballyshannon town, lough erne, donegal town, bundoran etc etc. The restaurant was good value & the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.
All in all we had a fantastic stay & would highly recommend it. Geat value for money.

I recently visited creevy pier hotel situated beside the ocean just 4 miles from Ballyshannon in Co. Donegal. The Location is Magnificant, We had a Bayview room from where we could watch the dolphins swim. The food was excellent in the hotel restaurant and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. My husband and i cannot wait to return .
