My husband and I just returned from a 2-night stay at this hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We found the staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. We ate in the bar on our first evening and enjoyed the food very much. On the second evening we ate in the restaurant and the Philippino waiter and waitress who served us, when they heard that we were celebrating our anniversary, produced a large slice of Baked Alaska, complete with candles and "Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary" piped in icing around the edge of the plate! We were thrilled and touched and it made the meal, which was delicious, extra special.
The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely pool and had a game of tennis, though some of the leisure facilities are a bit run down.
The garden at the front of the hotel is lovely and the hotel is on a quiet road where you can have a walk beside the beautiful river
There is a Treasure Hunt available at Reception which takes you into Ballina and helps you learn about the town - great fun! We even got our prize of a free drink each even though we got one wrong!

Recently stayed at this hotel on a tour of Ireland. The rooms were comfortable, clean and fairly roomy. The restaurant was excellent with good service and an excellent meal. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and the near by creek adds to the scenery. Located on a street off the main thoroughfare, it is quiet at night. The property is family owned and the entire staff was very helpful and courteous. They have free wi-fi, but the only place I could get reception was near the main desk in the lobby.

Staff very welcoming. Rooms could do with being modernised, however that's just my opinion - nothing wrong with them really. Ate in the bar area - food was lovely. Hotel is quite a walk from the town centre but then at least it's quiet.

Travelled with mixed party of ages 8 years to 80 years, we had two rooms with interconnecting doors, rooms were great and bathroom lots of hot water and towels. Only down side was no modern TV with 8 yr old need selection of channels.. However this is only one tiny thing everything else was great. Rooms 101 and 102 quiet but handy. We stayed for three nights ate in the Frogs Bar which was great after long day travelling, Music in bar on Friday night very relaxing. There was a wedding in the Hotel on the Saturday nyt we didnt hear a beep. Breakfast great. Hotel pool was great very good for children as it was not a very deep pool. Receptionist were great at organising seaweed baths, golf and really couldn't have been more helpful. I also really liked the family history supplied, we really enjoyed our stay and would def recommend to all ages. There is great benefit from staying in a family run hotel. Thank you so much.

Room Tip: We were in 101 and 102 quite rooms.
