On a road trip with friends so only stayed one night. It was the best B & B we stayed in during our trip around Ireland. Camilla and John are wonderful! They are so friendly and helpful. I am so happy we chose to stay with them while we were in Dingle.

The Brownes run a fantastic B&B! we decided to stay here based on the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed! I spoke to Camille as we were driving in because we were late and she had tea waiting for us when we arrived. The location is just outside of the main strip of the town and at first I thought it might be inconvenient as we were driving to it, but it's no more than a 3 minute drive. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and the Brownes are just fantastic. They gave us lots of advice on where to eat, shop, which attractions to see. Our time was limited so they helped us decide (Slea Head Drive and skip Ring of Kerry - Slea Head is amazing so we weren't disappointed). Breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and were quite disappointed when we arrived at our next stop -- a generic hotel, which was much more expensive and did not have the charm and warmth of Brownes. Definitely stay there!

I stayed there from May 15-17, for 2 nights. Camilla and John have been incredibly helpful. Prior to arrival, I have email exchanges in regards to reservation confirmation, arrival times, and directions to their b&b, and they would get back to me right away. Upon arrival, Camilla gave me her helpful recommendations and tips for places to eat and park around town. John also show us all the sightseeing places and gave me directions to my next destination.

The location is not right in the middle of the town but its on the main stretch of road of R559, your gateway to rest of the sightseeing places around the Dingle peninsula. The BB is easy to find, and only about 5-7 minutes drive away from town. I have a car, but it looks very walkable.

I stayed in room #3, above their family room/lounge room. It faced the front of the house with a nice view. The room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. There was also a flat screen TV which I didn't use but saw a poster of many available channels to choose from. There was a closet to hang your clothes and above that was a bottle of water and equipped with things you can use to make coffee (didn't use). You can also drink teas and coffee in the lounge downstairs. Free wifi was available throughout the BB. The bathroom was small (not an issue), came with towels and amenities. No problem with getting hot water for the shower. The room was nice and warm at night and windows are easy to open. I found at least two outlets for use.

However, the most memorable was Camilla and John. They are genuinely nice, warm, and got a great sense of humor. They really just want to help out their guests in any way they can. Camilla also cook wonderful breakfast for us.

I left this morning and already miss them and their BB. I already know that someday I would love to go back. I would definitely recommend to anybody to stay at the Brownes, and that I would very much come back and stay with them again.

My husband and I stayed at a variety of B&B's throughout our stay in Ireland but hands down the Browne's B&B was the best. First of all, you can't beat the beautiful view from their home. You would pay top dollar in the US for the view alone. More importantly, John and Camille are such gracious hosts. They pride themselves on making you feel right at home and accomodating your big to small requests. Having been raised in the area, they were an excellent source of information and helped guide us to "must see" areas as well as resturants off the beaten path. We ended our vacation on a high note in Dingle and would reccommend the Browne's B&B to all. I will miss my mornig porridge with Bailey's each morning!

Room Tip: If you are able to get a front room you will enjoy the view of Dingle Bay. However, all rooms looke...

We had an excellent time in Dingle thanks to Camilla and her husband. We were nearing the final few days of our trip and were both tired and frustrated with many of the tourist offices being closed at our last few stops. We were feeling confused, and weren't too sure which way to go about the rest of our travels around the coast. Camilla immediately put the kettle on and soon had a map out for us. The couple very kindly spent a lot of time with us going through the various routes and explaining to us how long things would take, offering alternative choices and options. We were soon feeling at ease, and happily headed into Dingle town with another helpful map they had drawn up for us displaying local restaurants and pubs. As well as this the B&B itself was beautiful, featuring lovely views. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning before heading on our way.

This b&b is located right in front of ocean. We were arrived early, welcomed warmly by the host & allowed for early check in! He also gave us a detailed map and guided us where to go, eat & visit. Room was big, overlooking sheep & ocean from the room window is definitely gorgeous! Breakfast was good, we also tried oat cookies specially made for their son. We thought this is a lovely home, hosts tried really hard to please & accommodate their guests! This is a real Irish b&b, highly recommend!

After spending 11 days in B&B's across Ireland & Northern Ireland, we have to say our favorite stay was with Camilla in Dingle. She was not only a friendly & helpful host, but her Irish humor made her the most memorable of all of our hosts. The rooms are comfortable & clean, the breakfast was very good & the location was nicely positioned in the country but yet close enough to walk to town. Speaking of town, out of the 9 cities we stayed in on our trip, Dingle was our favorite. A beautiful small seaside village, but yet with plenty of very good dining choices full of local seafood & even more importantly a number of pubs with traditional live Irish music. This may seem like the norm in Ireland, however we found it quite difficult to find live Irish music in many of the towns we stayed in on our trip especially on weeknights. But not in Dingle, where we had multiple choices all night long on a Monday. As far as value, Browne's is an absolute steal for Ireland. Don't miss the chance to stay here. So make the trip to Dingle & take Camilla's fantastic advice as she told us Slea Head Drive was better than the Ring of Kerry & she was right!
