“Possibly the most authentic Irish B&B”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

When you think of Ireland you think of extraordinarily friendly people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Well this is what we experienced at the Brownes. True Irish folk who keep this small B&B impeccaply clean with surpisingly good attention to small detail.
Upon arrival The Brownes make you feel as if you arrived at close relatives' house rather than a strangers accomodation.
Every plate at our breakfast was made with special attention and garnished to 5 star standards.
Our special dietary requests where all catered for with home baking made available.
Did i mention they make the most delicious home made Soda bread and scones in all of the south west??

They always did their very best to accomodate our every request
I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Dingle hands down

Absolutely lovely B&B! Breakfast is amazing (options such as fruit, cheese, yogurt in addition to a delicious traditional Irish breakfast). Most importantly, however, was genuine hospitality and warmth of Camilla and John - lovely, lovely people! They made us feel welcome and helped us whenever we needed it. We stayed 3 nights - from the first cup of tea to the last - great room, breakfast, and hospitality!

Everything about our stay with Camilla and John was fantastic. You feel at home from the moment you walk through the front door with Camilla offering tea and information about Dingle Town and the surrounding area. She helped us with dinner reservations and a kayaking tour which was one of the real highlights of our trip to Ireland. John is a tremedous resource on the history of the area and spent time helping us plan our tour of the peninsula. Our room was spacious, but had a cozy feel to it and the breakfast was to die for.

If you're going to Dingle (and you really shouldn't miss it), you couldn't find a more wonderful place to stay than Browne's.

This B&B is so wonderful, if you're looking for one in Dingle, look no further! Camilla and John make you feel right at home. They're very helpful, and can give you all the advice you need. Camilla even drove us to town when we went there for a night out. Oh, and the rooms and breakfast were great too! When we left (and I really already missed the place when we were still there) Camilla gave us some home baked scones and cookies for the road...

Room Tip: The rooms at the front side have a great view of Dingle bay!

We stayed here our first night in Ireland. Camille went over and above to help us out when we got a flat tire and our friend got food poisoning from supper. The room was very neat, the bathroom clean, hot water for the shower... Camille is very welcoming when you first come in the door offering tea or coffee (or water for those of us who don't drink hot drinks). Her breakfast is excellent. My sister got the fruit plate and it looked amazing. Camille has a lot of information about hiking trails in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly hosts in a wonderful setting. The Brownes couldn't have been more welcoming, helping us to get the very most out of our stay in charming Dingle. Lovely comfortable room and a tasty, hearty breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

B & B accommodation does not come better than this. Camilla and John are the perfect hosts; warm, friendly and keen for guests to make the most of their time in Dingle and so make an effort to find out what may interest them and then steer them in the right direction.
The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean and there is also a communal lounge for the use of guests.
Breakfasts are a particular highlight; there is a huge choice from porridge with Irish cream liqueur, to a full Irish breakfast (perfectly cooked) or my favourite, a platter of 6 Irish cheeses with a selection of fruit.
Brownes is perfectly placed to be close enough to Dingle to walk but far enough away to not be disturbed by any noise. It is also very near to the Slea Head Drive, a wonderfully paranamic drive around the peninsula.
