“Like eating at home”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Spent two weeks in Ireland in Sept. Wanted to try some Pub Grub so we saw this quaint bar in Dingle and decided to give it a try. Pub was small and a little loud, but the food was terrific. We had the fish and chips, Irish stew and Roast Beef. portions were large and fresh. You could but the roast beef with a fork it was so tender.
Good service, great food and a Cold Guiness..........what more could you ask for.

“Great live music”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

We stopped in for a pint on our way back to our room and found some great live music - good sing-a-long, lively music. They have different music in there as we didn't find quite the same liveliness the next night. Area near the music is small - if you walk by, stop in to check it out.

“great pub in Dingle”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

our first meal in Dingle was at Murphys. I had the fresh caught fish with chips and it was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Two amazingly large pieces of fish with chip and a lovely fresh salad. It was enough food for 2 meals!! Delicious fresh food served by friendly staff with a smile. Oh.....and of course great Guinness to compliment the meal. It was the best fish of our trip. We didnt stay late for entertainment but it is a great pub with lots of character in a great location on Strand across from the bay. Really enjoyed it......recommended !!

“We left after being totally ignored”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We sat down at a table and waited and waited and waited. No one acknowledged us. So after literally 15 minutes, we decided to give it a try at the bar. Still no service and no acknowledgment! What happened to Ireland of a Thousand Welcomes!? Not here for sure! We left and went to the Marina Inn and got a wonderful welcome and a great meal.
