My husband and I spent one night in Dingle at Castlewood. It was great. We were welcomed graciously and shown our room, which was massive, clean and comfortable-felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. We arrived early afternoon and were able to get some tips from Brian prior to heading out Slea Head drive (which was breath-taking, a must do!). Castlewood was the best place for us to rest during a hectic tour through Ireland. And breakfast was also great. We stayed at 5 different place during our time in Ireland, and Castlewood was by far our favorite!!

Beautiful house with great view. We walked into Dingle with no problem (although it is not a close walk, it is very pleasant). Comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Wireless internet worked well. Breakfasts were divine! Pancakes and salmon eggs Benedict were our favorites. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for two nights over New Years. Warmly welcomed by Brian with a glasss of Bucks Fizz for New Year and shown to our beautiful room overlooking the Bay. Well appointed rooms, tastefully decorated with huge bathroom complete with jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was everything I thought it would be, following the reviews here. I would highly recommend the pancakes, mmm mmm. Dining room staff were very pleasant and keen to chat to all guests, they obviously enjoy their jobs and the service and welcome is a credit to them. Don't forget to try Brian's scones, best in Ireland and he has the award to prove it! I'll be counting the days to my return to Dingle and Castlewood.

Wow! This place is pretty much perfect in every way. The place is comfy, clean and cozy with all kinds of nice small touches. Brian, the owner, seemed to be the kind of person who takes great pride in his work and does everything well. The breakfasts he cooks were so well thought out and amazing. We were told he even gets up early to make the scones and bread himself. The bathrooms had great tubs so we all wanted to take baths every night and then wrap up in the robes provided. The location is a quick walk to the shops, attractions and restaurants with a sidewalk the whole way. Easy to do the Slea Head Drive from here. I know it might be an unusual thing to say but staying here felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We loved this stop! The house/hotel was gorgeous! So clean and the owner was very nice and welcoming.

Our room had a nice view of the mountains and we had free parking, wi-fi and breakfast! The breakfast was the best we had in any of the hotels we stayed our whole vacation!

We would highly recommend this stop! Dingle is such a neat town!

Like a boutique hotel but with all the friendliness you'd hope for from a B&B. Decorations were beautiful and the food was beyond description. The bathroom was great, only place we visited on this trip with a jacuzzi tub. So nice after a long drive. Will be back if we can and we'd definitely recommend.

This has to be one of the finest establishments not only in Ireland, but also one of the most outstanding we have ever experienced. Helen and Brian are warm, inviting and the consummate professionals. From the initial greeting, to the decor, to the incredible service and breakfast, nothing was left to chance. Simply put, had 6 stars been available, they would qualify. Do not miss this experience.
