The Castlewood is one of the nicest place I've ever stayed. Owners Brian and Helen have created a comfortably elegant experience. Brian's breakfasts are extraordinary and the view is spectacular. They have thought of everything to make this the perfect place to stay and enjoy! And Helen's mother's prints make the perfect souvenir. Don't miss this place.

My husband and I stayed at Castlewood for 3 nights in Mid May. Brian and Helen are wonderful hosts. The location was great, easy walk to the center of Dingle and a wonderful view of the bay. The breakfasts? Everything you read on here is 100% true. Great food prepared fresh daily.. and a wide variety too. Our room was large and decorated nicely. Highly recommend.

Helen and Brian are such superb hosts. Castlewood is spotless, cofortable and simply wonderful. From breakfast to tea time to night time, the accomodations are flawless. Helen is such a welcoming person. I know people rave about the breakfasts - but the raving is well deserved: it's just fantastic! I will definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Dingle.

This was the best place we stayed on our ten day trip to Ireland. The hospitality of Helen and Brian can't be beat. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is perfect if you're touring the Dingle peninsula. I would go back to Ireland just to stay at Castlewood House. I wish I could send all my friends and relatives there right now! But again, there is something very special about Helen and Brian. Helen makes you feel like you are her long lost relative who has shown up for a visit. She, particularly, makes this the best place to stay in Ireland, in my opinion!

All reviews have said this Dingle Ireland guesthouse is five star-and they are right. From the warm reception to the excellent room to the superb breakfast this establishment is excellent. Until now we have never found a bed and breakfast establishment that beats a top line hotel or resort-type property;this one does. If in Dingle do not hesitate to chose this property for your stay. This guesthouse has a 2013 Tripadvisor choice award and it deserves it.

Room Tip: Ask for a deluxe room with a water view.

Simply put, if you don't enjoy your stay wt Castlewood, you shouldn't be staying at guesthouses. This was by far the best guesthouse we've ever stayed in. The Hosts were delightful and very helpful guiding us to the best places to eat and enjoy music. The home is bright and impeccably decorated. The artwork complemented the decor perfectly. Although we stayed at several places much more expensive than Castlewood, this was the highlight of our trip.

We stayed at Castlewood House for three nights in April. The small town of Dingle is wonderful and only a short walk from the B&B. Castlewood is run by owners Brian and Helen. Brian showed us to our room which was HUGE! We booked a junior suite and were given room 11 which had a small view of the bay. The bottle of filtered water in the room was very nice. We also had chocolates as well as coffee and tea making facilities within the room. Our room and bathroom were spotless. The bathroom was very large with a Jacuzzi and a standing shower with very good water pressure. It was wonderful to have a king size bed!
Breakfast was extraordinary! Brian does the cooking and Helen does the baking. We had a three night stay in Dingle, which meant we were able to have the wonderful breakfast three mornings! We only wished we could have stayed long enough to try everything on the menu as it all sounded so good! The bread and butter pudding on the buffet table is YUMMY, don't miss it! The staff is great and everyone is eager to help you. We drove Slea Head Loop on one day of our trip and the Ring of Kerry the next day. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Castlewood House; we would definitely return if we were back in the Dingle Area.
