Dingle Bay Hotel is on the waterfront, has on site restaurant. Parking is in the back. Food was excellent and the room was very good. A short walk takes you to shopping and other restaurants. Couple of groceries are close as well as a gas station.

It was a chilly grey day and we were waiting for, and warming up for, our Dolphin watching experience.

The Dingle Bay Seafood chowder lured us in, plus the location, and it was very tasty. Just a bit small. I was looking for hearty but felt I got a bit of penny pinching. Disappointing given typical Irish quantities. I went away hungry.

The staff was pleasant, the decor comfortable. Could have stayed in the warm longer, but had a dolphin to meet.

We stayed at Dingle Bay Hotel for two nights as part of our Vagabond Tour 12 Day Adventure. We have no complaints about any item of our stay. It was hot, as the weather was unusually sunny and clear, but we survived with just our open windows as the room did not have A/C. Our room overlooked the bustling street so we got to experience the energy of the town as everyone went about their business and holidays.

Our meals were great when we ate at the restaurant. A big thank you to Caroline who took care of my special request for a breakfast item off the menu. You are a shining example of the high quality service we experienced at Dingle Bay Hotel!

Dingle Bay Hotel is located across of the pier & marina. Our room had a tv, tea/coffee maker, and soap and bath gel was provided but not shampoo and conditioner. Our room had a double and single bed and there was plenty space to move about. The ceiling slanted downwards and had 2 windows that we could open to get some breeze. There is an elevator as well as stairs to reach your room. Besides the location, the best part of this hotel was the breakfast. The usual hot offerings were available but this was the 1st place on our tour that offered fried potato cakes with bacon and scrambled eggs and pan fried hake (fish) with potato cakes for breakfast. Slices of bread and homemade mini scones were offered at each table. The continental breakfast table had very smooth plain and strawberry flavored yogurt, fruits, cereals, bread, pastries, and juices. Everything was delicious. Staff were friendly and available if you needed anything.

We just came back from a 2 night stay. The hotel itself is lovely. Very clean & the staff are friendly. Breakfast & dinner were both really nice. The only issue we had is the room. Although it was spotless & the bed very comfortable, we were on the second floor (202) & we only had 2 velux windows in the room. They didn’t have blinds on them so the sun was steaming in from
About 4.30 am. This probably won’t bother a lot of people but the thing I love about hotel rooms is the darkness with the curtains. We also had to keep the windows open all night as it was sweltering hot & there is no air con. The problem with that is that the hotel is on a busy street so there was constant noice & I found it impossible to sleep. If we were going back I would avoid this room. Dingle is beautiful & well worth the visit.
