Owner description: The brewery is based the old creamery building on Spa Rd.,Dingle. Opened in 1888 the creamery became the economic epicenter of the Dingle Peninsula and was a vital commercial center for the area, especially after 1916 and the following troubled years which had left the economy, especially agriculture, in a perilous state. The owners of Dingle Brewing Co., have been mindful of the place that this building has in the history of the area and have lovingly restored it, retaining its charm and character. By running the brewery and also offering tours to the general public and tourist market the Dingle Brewing Co. hope to restore the level of importance which this building had previously enjoyed and make it an essential part of the Dingle experience as well as providing employment for people in the town. As well as offering tours they will be producing ‘Tom Crean’s’ Premium Irish Lager’, the first pint of which will be poured, quite fittingly, in the South Pole Pub, Annascaul, Co. Kerry. The very pub, which the great man Tom Crean ran after retiring from his Antarctic expeditions. The lager will be available initially in selected osupplied as demand dictates. The Dingle Brewing Co. is aiming to rejuvenate the unique atmosphere of socialising in an Irish pub by producing a premium Irish lager which will appeal to both the public and the publican alike and provide a focal point for friends to get together, enjoying that unique atmosphere, each others company and a pint or a glass of ‘Crean’s’

The Dingle Brewery Company is a company in its infancy but don't let that put you off. The beer is lovely but the tour is a little short on, well, a tour. We had a great chat with the barman afterwards and listening to his conversation this is a company with plenty of ideas and innovation up their sleeves. I look forward to seeing them grow and will enjoy Tom Crean beer where and when I can!

Amazing lager! The guys at the brewery were great and we had a great time talking to them about craft brewing in Ireland. Hope to see Tom Crean's in America very soon!

First off, I'm not a beer drinker. Only with Mexican food and a Corona and a lime will you find me drinking a beer. But that changed at the Dingle brewery! It's really just an old building that's been completed renovated and you "belly up" to the bar for a pint but its the Tom Crean's pint that's so tasty! They do charge you for the pint but I did get a taste first.

To be honest, we arrived at 5:59 pm with closing at 6:00 pm so I don't even know if there's a tour or not. All I know is the bartender was friendly and he didn't mind staying late for all of the folks still at the bar.

And oh yes, I loved the lager and that's why it got an excellent rating from me!

As a tourist attraction the Dingle Brewing Company disappointed because it was so poorly presented. The public bar area is in need of a smarten up, and the unisex toilet was disgusting and badly in need of a clean floor and toilet bowl. There is only a single beer (pilsener lager) on tap, and as a tourist attraction this place could learn a lot from other similar brewery attractions that provide more a tourist experience around the tasting and drinking.

We were on our way out of Dingle and we saw the Dingle Brewery sign. We just made it because they were about to close. The beer is awesome and the bartender was super cool. I can't wait until they make their whiskey! This is a must see in Dingle since it is a small town.
