“Good food in a friendly atmosphere”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Great restaurant near a popular holiday destination. Family friendly. Great help given by staff when ordering. One of our group needed a gluten-free menu and was given great help and had a wide range to choose from.
Not cheap but good food.

“Five Star!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

I would never have expected such excellent food from a small B&B. The charming proprieter described the courses in great detail and did not disappoint. My duck was cooked to perfection, the best I have ever had.

“Exelllant Seafood”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

I enjoyed a great seafood dinner at this restaurant last Saturday night with three guests.
The dining room has a great view of evening sun declining in the West over the Atlantic Ocean. The starters were superb the seafood tart being the best and deserts were also very good and reasonable. The Spanish red from the limited wine list was great value, and the waitress was pleasant and helpful Anyone visiting the Dingle .area should eat there

“Just the best food and room”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We were late in the season and were the only people staying for the night but the restaurant was full. Our room overlooked Smerwick Harbour with a faboulous view. Very clean, modern and plenty of sitting room for enjoying a quiet afternoon. The food was superb!!! Thankyou Jacquie for really making us feel at home. We so enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again and STAYING LONGER!!!!! Great value

“Simply Excellent”
Reviewed September 12, 2012 via Local Picks

The food here is just outstanding; the quality of the seafood is the best I have had in Ireland. The portions are generous, for non fish eaters there are great alternatives. My only problem is deciding what I want, it is all so good.

And the breakfasts, their own smoked Salmon which just tastes amazing!.

We stayed with our family, 2 small kids and grandparents, for a week in one of their self catering houses, which was beautifully furnished and well equipped with all rooms en suite.

The owners Paud and Jackie are such a nice couple and their staff are excellent, they couldn't do enough for you.

I would highly recommend Staying and Eating in the Old Pier it is an excellent spot, the food, accommodation and the views are amazing.
