“Lovely Views - Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

This B&B has it all. Lovely rooms, wonderful service and terrific views of Dingle bay. The front porch overlooks the bay and provides wonderful landscapes for just enjoying the peninsula. The breakfasts are sumptuous and the on site parking is excellent.

Room Tip: When calling, try for a room that overlooks the bay and not the parking lot out back.

We were fortunate to spend three glorious days at Dingle Heights in the June heatwave, and Bridey was a great hostess. Bridey would have been excused if she had lost her focus during our time there, as she was dealing with a family issue at the time, but she kept our comfort and accomodation first and foremost.

The view at the breakfast table is one we will never forget, in fact, we still put up the picture of that view on our breakfast table at home so we can bring ourselves right back to Dingle Heights. It was delightful to hear Bridey speaking Irish to her two young granddaughters, and to listen to their command of both languages.

Breakfast was beautifully presented, and plenty of it. Bridey was eager to be helpful and informative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy our company. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view. Unbelievable!

While Dingle Heights have views you can only dream about until you see them, it is all down to Bridie and Tom. (I actually drew the short straw and had a room overlooking the hills rather than the sea). Bridie is a first class host, sensitive to your needs and there to provide just the right level of advice. We were a little lost having originally planned to come in the summer, but Bridie knew exactly what to suggest each day depending on the weather conditions, amusing as I work for a national weather service! The rooms were impeccable and the breakfast met my needs.

Room Tip: Rooms face either the bay or the hills behind the property.

We stayed for one night during the dingle food and wine festival. It was a last minute decision to go to Dingle and we were very lucky to find this little place! I had tried calling a few places looking for a room and was greeted by quite a few grumpy people on the other end of the phone so it was lovely to hear a cheerful voice when I called Dingle Heights. The gentleman wasn't sure if they had a room available but he informed me that somebody hadn't yet arrived that had booked a room so if they weren't coming we could have the room. He rang be back shortly afterwards informing me that the people that had originally booked the room had to cancel so we were able to stay, we were delighted to say the least! The location is excellent, only a couple of minutes walk from the hustle and bustle in the centre of Dingle. There is a fabulous view of the harbour from the breakfast room which we didn't get to appreciate until breakfast time as we arrived late at night but it is a truly spectacular view. The gentleman that greeted us was welcoming and friendly ( same man that I spoke to on the phone but I'm not sure of his name). Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. Overall, a perfect little b&b for enjoying out trip to Dingle and very good value too.

After a less than stellar hotel stay during the previous two days, it was delightful to stay at Dingle Heights. The accommodations were very comfortable and I appreciated the easy access to parking. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast eating area...great!

We did stay just for one night only, no booking, we just picked random place but got lovely bedroom with beautiful view of harbour, it was in the middle of the season and it wasn't overpriced as many of BB's there. Nice, tasty breakfast. Only one "minus" thing is the walls between rooms are very tiny and you can hear other guests talking. However we definitely will back there !

What a great place to stay! A beautiful house with spectacular views. Bridie and Tom's wealth of knowledge of the area is second to none and they are more than willing to guide you in the right direction! A very warm and friendly house and the breakfast was delicious. Their son Breandan was always on hand for any help required. I couldn't recommend this house more highly. I look forward to returning very soon.
