Owner description: Hello, from Dingle Jaunting! We do daily horse drawn carriage tours. We also do special trips for your wedding, birthday, communion or private picnics. Have an event? We can make it special with equestrian style. At Dingle Jaunting we would like you to experience an old fashioned mode of tour transport while enjoying the safety and comfort of modern disc brakes, leaf springs and comfortable padded seats. We don't want rain to spoil your unique tour so we have planned on you staying dry with our lovely canopy style cover. We are an environmentally friendly business with horse drawn power and all horsey waste being collected for use at the local organic garden. The half hour tour leaves on the hour and the half hour from the harbour carpark. Daily the tours begin at 10 and the last tour is at 5. We are closed Tuesday and Wednesdays for the horses to get out and enjoy their pasture. Our season runs from the first of March through the end of October. During December you can enjoy "Jingle Jaunting" when our carriage gets dressed up for the holidays and our horses like to pretend they are reindeer.Let Dingle Jaunting be part of your Dingle journey!

We were walking along the harbour and met Molly, shes a dote!
We went for a jaunt by the Skellig hotel near Fungi beach, learned a little bit of the history of the place and we fed carrots to our trusty steed when we got back.
The kids loved it soo much we wondered if we could organise a slightly longer trip one day..Maureen suggested a picnic trek so we made a booking and we are all looking forward to that!
Highly recommended!

I'm based locally in Dingle but had not had the opportunity to take the ride on the jaunting cart. One afternoon my son and I decided to take a ride around town. It was fabulous! Of course the sky was threatening rain as it often does, but there were no worries, she has a wonderful cover over the cart. We went around the town and heard the history of the the town and local stories. Most of the stories neither my son nor I had heard before so it was great. The ride also gave us a great over view of the town. If we had been visiting it's a great way to find spots that you want to see in more detail later. We are lucky to have this new attraction. I believe it will soon be a must do on ALL visitors lists.

We travelled to Dingle in June as part of our first Irish holiday. And without any doubt the highlight of our few days there was our carriage ride with Maureen & her horse Molly , & her gorgeous friendly puppy Teddy !. What a treat. My 2 children were mesmorised by all three . Maureen was so friendly & informative about everything local as she drove us around this beautiful fishing harbour town . We got a guided tour along with her favourite recommendations of places to eat & hear wonderful traditional music. My kids got to ride up front with her & hold Molly's reins .And have their photo taken. It was such fun and good value for money - we went a second time . Dont miss dingle jaunting.
