“Disappointing!”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

A friend and I went out to see Fungi and although we only got a glimpse of him that was ok, you can't plan for these things!
The thing that disappointed me was the lack of communication from the driver and his assistant. When we all barrelled on the boat we weren't greeted at all, the assistant just seemed to avoid looking at us. We left about fifteen mins late, which again was ok but there was no communication. Again when we left the boat we didn't get a thank you or goodbye or anything.
The only time we were spoken to at all was when it was time to collect the money and even then that was just to tell us how much we owed.
I guess between the lack of sightings it would have been nice to have a bit of banter with the driver and his asst or at least that they could point out other points of interest. Instead it just felt too commercial and not worth the €16 we were charged.

Managed to see fungie and two other dolphins on this trip. Very good value for money. Fungie is doing well for his years.

“Amazing Experience!”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We had Fungie the Dolphin on our list of things to see in Ireland and did not want to go back home to USA without seeing him. After having a great dinner across from their office we realized that we just missed the last tour. My sister and my little one were extremely disappointed that we missed it so we talked to Ms. Bridget Flannery (from the office)about early morning tour. We could not stay till the morning since we had to be in Dublin (on the other side of Ireland) the next day at noon. But Ms. Bridget was so nice and helpful that she went and talk to the captain for us. As she came back she said that he would take us all on a tour. They even dropped the price and we basically had this huge boat just to ourselves. It was literally a private tour for 4 adults and one child. It was very nice experience with very nice staff. At first we were chasing the dolphin and then he just stayed around us. The weather was just beautiful we stayed on the sea for about an hour. Thanks again to the amazing staff at the office. Great job! We have beautiful memories!

“Lots of fun!! Nice views”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

Didn't plan to take the boat ride but very glad I did! Got great photos of the area and even though it was choppy weather, the dolphin was out and about and being cute! It felt like we were playing hide and seek with Fungi but when he finally decided to hang around the boat, he was super cute and stayed with us for a while. Really cute to see everyone getting so excited about a nice little dolphin! Staff working inside the office were very helpful and friendly too!
