My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon tour of the west coast and it is utterly delightful. Nicely located on a quiet lane in the centre of Dingle, we stayed in the Fanad suite, a cosy self catered apartment on two floors with a spiral staircase up to the bedroom. It's a very comfortable home away from home and Mary and Jim are wonderful hosts. Friendly and helpful, they looked after us very well and kept us stocked up with cake. Thank you for our wedding present, it was really very thoughtful! Continental breakfast was provided (in kit form) in the apartment's kitchen when we arrived so we could make and eat at our own pace. All in all a great stay, and heartily recommended!

It was nice for my family - five adults and a one year old to have such a conveniently located "home" in Dingle. We could walk to restaurants, walking paths, grocery store and pubs! The well stocked kitchen complete with chocolate or lemon cake allowed us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast every day before heading out on our adventures. The near by market has many options for prepared foods to take away for economical dinners. There is a excellent Fish and Chips place just down the street.
Mary and Jim go out of their way to make you comfortable. We are so glad we found this place!

We stayed one night at the Captain's House in May. We were traveling with our daughter so they offered us the Rathlin Suite which was great! There was a kitchen, living room and bedroom downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs, so we had lots of room to spread out! The suite also had a washer and dryer in the kitchen. We appreciated being able to wash a few things since we packed lightly.

This was the only B&B we stayed in during our trip which had a continental breakfast waiting for us in the kitchen versus a hot breakfast, but we were happy for a change at that point and really liked being able to eat when it worked for us. They supplied a great breakfast-muesli, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, cheese, yogurt, lemon bread, scones, juice, etc.! We were well fed, ate on our own timeline and could sit at the table in our pj's.:)

We did have a little trouble finding the place initially because our GPS directed us to the back of the place instead of the front. We saw a sign and a gate but it was locked so we called and the owner came out to meet us and show us how to get to the front. We were able to park streetside right in front of the B&B. Not sure if they are able to secure enough parking places for all their guests, but we got a space.

The B&B is on a quiet street but right by the main streets in Dingle so the location was great.

We didn't meet the owner's wife because she was out of town when we stayed, but he was pretty interesting. We didn't have a lot of contact with him but he shared that he used to train navy seals (for the British navy I believe).

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at the Captain's House during our Ireland trip. The hosts, Mary and Jim, were so gracious, and their twin daughters are charming. Mary made sure we had plenty of fresh food (home-baked items, fruit, juice, etc.) each morning. The room, with an upstairs bedroom reached by a circular staircase, was comfortable. The outside balcony provided a lovely view. Jim provided great advice on some local attractions, and I have to thank him for sending us to the Courthouse Pub, the highlight of our time in Dingle (and in all of Ireland). A lovely couple and a nice family-owned B&B.

Our stay in the Rathlin Suite was perfect! We had 6 adults and 2 children. It was cozy and comfortable. My two young sons enjoyed playing in the backyard and making new friends with our hosts' children :) We had a wonderful time and would recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Dingle!!
