“Quality and Service - Good Sleep”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

This B&B is great, we stayed two nights and checked in later the first night. We had our pick of rooms, we chose smaller and comfortable. The staff and owner (Bernie) were welcoming, efficient, and Bernie made great scones in the morning. They are organized and clean, with soap and shampoo where provided, some places don't (surprise to us). It was a good, quiet sleep.
Not far from the center of town in Dingle, with easy parking and access.
They had area knowledge and great advise for travel in the area.
Breakfast had fantastic breads, and full Irish if desired. We had eggs Benny, and it was perfect.
Tea kettle in each room helped us relax and unwind at night, there is common area (we didn't use it though). Would love to go back.

We stayed two nights here on our trek around the Dingle Way. Room was very clean and very spacious. There was a decanter of water in the room, which was a nice touch.

Shower was great, but would have preferred a shelf or similar for storing shampoo and soap. Instead, we had to use the shower floor.

Breakfast was made to order and very tasty and there was an abundance of food.

My husband and our two college aged kids stayed several nights. Best bathrooms in Ireland. Huge, modern, quiet, and spotless. Very short walk to Dingle downtown. Breakfasts were great. Easy to find. Ample parking. Wish we stayed longer! Dingle and Bambury's are not to be missed!

Walking distance from everything in Dingle town. Bernie our host met us at the door, greeted us and showed us to our room. Really spacious, we had booked a double, the was a double and single in it, with loads of room and a big en suite. The house is decorated tastefully, and is bright and airy. Had a great night's sleep, and the cooked breakfast the next morning was excellent.

The welcome from Bernie was genuine; the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Sorry we were not staying a second night. Car parking was great and we hope to be back someday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the bay

Although we'd arrived on rather a stressful day for the family (Bernie had buried her beloved mother that very day) our welcome by Bernie was warm and caring. Our room was big and airy and bright and very well kept. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety and always beautifully presented. We also happened to be there for three weeks and even shared the "experience" of Hurricane Darwin with them. We had plenty of candles and an extra duvet in case it got too cold. Breakfast the next morning was just as yummy as usual and everything was running smooth as clockwork. Bernie's helper (whose name I never learned) was extremely efficient, kind and always willing to help in any way. Our rooms were always immaculate and it was great to return to the room after a long day of house hunting and supper in town. From Bambury House it was an easy walk into town and visit all the wonderful shops that make Dingle the tourist mecca it has become. Bernie was so kind and wonderful for our long stay and I can easily and happily recommend Bambury's for its gracious welcome, kind and warm welcome and very comfortable and peaceful rooms.

The B&B we were booked into sustained storm damage a few days prior to our arrival so our hostess made arrangements for us to stay in a B&B a short distance from hers. Bambury's was a wonderful experience. Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Location is good for exploring Dingle. Highly recommend Bambury's!!
