This adorable B&B is just a few minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs of Ballyferriter, where we had a great pub meal followed by traditional music. When we returned at the end of the night, Alice had warmed our beds for us! It was the highlight of all our B & B overnight stays on this trip, especially after being caught out in the cold Irish rain for a short bit. Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was AMAZING. We ate far too much while chatting with the other guests in the small breakfast room. We hiked Mt. Brandon the next day, and Alice gave us good advice on which trail to take, directions, etc., and willingly acted as our safety contact so someone would know we arrived back safely from our trek! Overall a great experience at An Spiece!

My sister and I stayed here one night on our trip around Ireland. Alice is such a wonderful hostess, giving us tea or coffee and tea cakes upon arrival and helping us turn on the heated blankets that made the beds perfectly toasty before bed. She was great at giving us tips about directions, where to eat, etc., and breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend staying here!

Alice and John went out of their way to fetch our party of 8 hikers from the Blasket I. Visitors Center. We were welcomed warmly, and the location looks straight on to the three sisters. Beautiful! Rooms and bathrooms are small, but well appointed with nice linens and quality features in the bathrooms. Extra cozy sitting room for guests to use. Wonderful breakfast selections, expanding the typical full breakfast menu. Charming, sunny breakfast room. Lovely in every way! Thank you, Alice!

Alice had hot scones and tea upon arrival, which were very good. We had a nice room, with a very small bathroom. My only complaint is that the directions were confusing, and it took much longer to find it from Dingle Town than stated by the hostess.

Alice and John were the perfect hosts after a long day of walking. Alice prepared hot scones and tea and loaned us her computer to check e-mail.The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was the most modern of any of the places we stayed. We had a wonderful breakfast with a great view overlooking the coast. My wife enjoyed watching John train his border collie to herd sheep in the adjoining pasture. Added bonuses: As we were leaving, John offered my wife a hiking stick for the next leg of our walk and gave us a lift to the beach where we had left the Dingle Way the previous afternoon. We have no problem giving this B&B a well-deserved "10".

My mother and I were hiking around Dingle. We stayed at several B & Bs for one night. We has scheduled to stay an extra night so one of them was a two night stay. We were so lucky to have out two nights at An Speice. What a lovely experience. Alice and John went out of their way to make us comfortable and have a great experience. I can not wait to go back. I would recommend An Speice to anyone.
