This was one of the best dining experiences we have had! It was a simple menu but all very well prepared. We were extremely lucky getting seats as they are very small and had many reservations. We had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. The wait was well worth it but without reservations we could have had to wait much longer. We didn't have anything we didn't like but I have to especially point out that the Fish and chips were exceptionally yummy!

We were delighted with the food and loved the way we were made to feel so welcome. Thanks to trip advisor we had booked the table in advance. Love this place!

This was a gem of a restaurant, lesser known and more affordable than some of the more highly touted Dingle restaurants, such as Charthouse (where we also ate). After two weeks of up and down Irish cuisine, we'd put our dinner at An Canteen at the top of our dining experiences. Great seafood and crispy pork, locally sourced food, and fine service. If you stay in Dingle, go here....

We had an evening meal here. Best to book, more than 2 would not have got a table. The service was excellent and the food was master chef class. Atmosphere was very good, wine first class. An altogether perfect evening. Not cheap but worth it.

Myself and my daughter left waiting by the door for a while before being shown a seat. They were busy, though. Food was outstanding. One of the best in Dingle. Left waiting way too long for the bill. About 30 minutes just sitting there.
