Four of us ate last night at Out of the Blue, having discounted several other more highly recommended Dingle restaurants. First, the atmosphere is really very ordinary. I'd get a better buzz in my local Home Counties pub in the UK. Second, the service is OK but they didn't listen on a couple of requests, so we ended up having to send stuff back. The starter squid was utterly delicious but the duo of sea bass and John Dory was disappointing - bland, overcooked and dry. The wine isn't great value either - we ordered OK wine, but at 30 Euros/bottle......... Overall it was disappointing.
