My wife and I traveled a week in Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oban) and a week in Ireland (Dublin and Dingle), and our stop in Kenmare at Watersedge was by far the best B&B/Guest house we stayed at over the two weeks. It's location is idyllic, the accommodations are excellent, and the host (Noreen) is wonderful and attentive. The view from the outside patio is majestic as you look over the bay to Kenmare itself. Town is an easy walk, or an even easier drive. This is the other thing we liked - it's close to town but not right in town. Nice to have a quiet spot for the evening away from the summer crowds. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night on our way to the west coast of Ireland. We would highly recommend Watersedge as THE place to stay when you are in this area!!!

The views from here are just magnificent, giving a wonderful feeling of peace and contentment as one sat out on the front deck. The rooms were clean and reasonably spacious, and the breakfast was good. I would cheerfully stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at watersedge for 2 nights in June and loved it! Noreen was a kind and gracious hostess and was so helpful to us in planning our time in kenmare and the ring of Kerry. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The B&B is about a 10 minute walk from the quaint town of kenmare, where we would go to eat dinner each night. It was very close to the Ring of Kerry as well. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Wow! Great spot overlooking a lovely lake. Spacious accommodations, great food and kind hosts. This place was nice and quiet, great for rejuvenating! We were able to request a picnic lunch also for our Ring of Kerry drive!

This place a little outside of Kenmare is perfect for going to the ring of Beara and ring of Kerry. We stayed for two nights. It is wonderfully quiet but in walking distance to the restaurants and pubs in Kenmare. We did not book in advance and were fortunate to get a room with view over the river. Outside is a nice sunny patio for the guests. Noreen, the hostess, prepares Irish breakfast, scrambled or poached eggs or pancakes for breakfast.
We totally loved staying at Watersedge B&B and would recommend it anytime.
