“The best stay of our trip to the Ring of Kerry”
Reviewed April 16, 2009

This place was by far the best find of my trip with my family to the Ring of Kerry. After driving the Ring anti-clockwise from Killarney, we drove into the town of Kenmare. Kenmare is by far the best town on the Ring drive and best left till last.

We walked the streets looking for a place to stay and came across Foleys. At a 'walk up' rate of 89euro for two with full breakfast we couldnt go wrong.

The rooms are modern, very well insulated from the pub downstairs and the road (we didnt hear a thing all night!), the breakfast was great, the pub was brilliant and the service from all involved was as good as any 5 star place I have stayed in. Top notch.

Only criticism is that the bathrooms are a little dated, but are still very clean and serviceable. But don't let that turn you off. It really is great value for money and a great base for exploring Kenmare and the Ring. We loved this pub/B&B and have recommended it to everyone in my office already!!!!

We Stayed at Foley's Guesthouse for 6 Nights. Between the Owner Patrick Foley, his wife Marion and all of the staff they really made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Anything we needed we had. The Food was delicious, the rooms were newly remodeled and well furnished. I would definately stay at Foley's Guesthouse again.

I stayed at Foley's for six nights in March 2009 and cannot say enough positive things. The rooms were just remodeled and were beautifully done. The hotel was immaculate and the staff could not have been nicer. The owner Patrick went out of his way to offer assistance with anything we asked for. The pub is lively and offers a wonderful night of entertainment. The food was fresh, original and reasonable priced. I would highly recommend Foley's to anyone. I have stayed at many beautiful hotels and found our experience here to be top-notch. We will definately return.

I'm a frequent traveler to Ireland and must say that a great job was done at Foley's with the remodeling. The bar and new bedrooms are simply gorgeous. You are sure to feel right at home be it in the bar, restaurant or in the bedroom! If every stay during my two weeks is like this, I'll be in heaven!

What a wonderful place! Kenmare is a beautiful town and Foleys is right down town. The accommodations were clean and comortable, and the food was great. Entertainment in the pub made for a great way to spend the evening. Pat Foley makes you feel as if you are the only guest. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Foley's for two nights in late July of 2008 and it was a great experience from the start- Patrick helped us find a parking space and made us feel right at home. The staff is great and the accomodations were very good. The food and entertainment were great ! It is in a central location and Kenmare is a very walkable city- a must visit!
