I booked with Foley's for a stag of 25 for March 2014. I was dealing with Pat Foley on the initial booking and he was very accommodating and flexible throughout. There was no issue with changing room numbers and he gave us what turned out to be an very reasonable price. There was the offer of arranging dinner for the group if required but it didn't work out for us as we were eating before arriving in Kenmare. On arrival we were quickly processed and keys given out, the correct number of beds were ready which was an achievement given the changes in the days before we arrived. The rooms were very clean and tidy. We had one drink in the bar before heading off to watch a match elsewhere. We returned later in the night as there was a band, Hell for Leather, playing. Pat had promised me that that were a great band and he wasn't wrong. There was a great atmosphere and the place was buzzing, just what you want for a group of lads on a stag. . When the band finished we headed to the Square Pint. Next morning the breakfast was served until 10 but in fairness to the team they kept the breakfasts coming until 11 so nearly all the lads were fed. This was super as I'm sure they needed to begin lunch prep but we really appreciated how attentive and understanding they were, especially as the clocks had changed overnight, catching some people out.
I would definitely recommend Foley's to anybody as it offers a friendly, fun atmosphere where the customer is front and center. I would have no reservations about staying or frequenting Foley's Kenmare again in the future.

Room Tip: I would suggest asking for a room on the top floor. I was on the top floor and could barely hear an...

From the minute we walked in it felt like home. Patrick and his staff are wonderful. Best food we had in Ireland. Rooms were perfect. Patrick is such a gracious host. He even helped us plan the rest of our trip. This will be our first stop when we return to the emerald isle.

The bartender was very helpful and got us a room quickly as we had no reservations. The room was nice. The only complaint which is no fault of the innkeepers is the loud bar scene on the street. We got NO SLEEP!. I guess we should have went out and joined them.

Room Tip: Sleep in the back of building

We stayed in several places in Kenmare during our house-hunting time. Every time we would like to make a booking with Foleys Guesthouse, there was no room available.
But this time we were lucky :-)
We feld in love with the room and the pub and the pub food! Great place, the best in Town!!!!!
Next time we will surely be back and eat the Roasted Stuffed Lamb again!
Kind regards, Marleen and Evert van Wijk

Stayed in Foleys Sat night the 8th Feb. It was a cold & wet day but the room was lovely & cosy. Modern & very clean. Has everything you'd need. Great price, paid just €79 for B&B, had a full Irish in the morning which was very good. Not swimming in grease like a lot of places!!
Location is excellent!! Couldn't ask for better. Free on street parking, got a spot just outside the door. Have eaten in Foleys before on previous visits, food in the bar is very tasty, reasonable & excellent service. The staff couldn't be friendlier!! Would recommend & will stay again!

Stayed here recently having previously stayed in a local hotel and thought I would go for the guesthouse experience for a change. Very well appointed room overlooking the main street, very nicely decorated.Very pleasant and helpful staff . Breakfast was cooked to order which you dont always get in an hotel.. All in all a great experience. And of course value for money.
