“A wonderful find”

This was our first b&b of nine, and definitely one of our favorites. Lovely room, nice bathroom and super breakfast. The owners are more than kind. Just remember to bring your own shampoo. Home is adorable. Definitely recommend!

My daughter and I spent two lovely nights at this wonderful B&B in kenmare last week (may 17 & 18th). When we first arrived we went to the kenmare lace museum. The owner, Siobhan, also works there and gave us the tour. She was so warm and welcoming and provided great tips for tackling the ring of Kerry. The B&B was spotless and very contemporary in decor. The beds were especially comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed her daughter's art work found on the walls of the b&b.

We had recently the pleasue of a weekend stay here , boh my own family and my friends , The room size for a large family is excellent , and comfortable .Its a very well located guesthouse , in the town , yet in a very quiet spot . Couldn't fault the breakfast either , and a very nice lady owner also . The thing I find about limestone is that even on a long weekend , when kenmare is pretty busy , I have always been able to get accommodation here , guess its one of kenmares best kept secrets !!!!

My family and I stayed with Siobhan for only one night; however, her friendliness and knowledge of lace made our stay unique. The lodge offers large, clean rooms and plenty of parking. We got a chance to sit down with Siobhan during breakfast - which was very delicious - where we learned a bit more about lace and how it's made. Very highly recommended!

Our visit with Siobhan at the Limestone Lodge was a very special experience. The Lodge is very nice, a quick walk over the river to Kenmare, a short drive to the Ring of Kerry and the national park. But the really special part of our stay was our time with Siobhan. She took us to the Lace center, a wonderful place that is preserving the Irish tradition of lace making. Siobhan has been active there for many years. She shared her experiences and thoughts with us, and made us feel her warmth, creativity and intelligence. Our stay stands out as a unique part of our trip to Ireland.

After a long day of driving, Siobhain welcomed us with open arms. The Limestone Lodge is an ideal location near town and Quiet. The B&B building itself has a unique exterior and there is ample parking. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with fresh flowers on the table. Siobhan and I shared a lovely conversation about wellness and healthy eating so ideal for vegetarians and vegans. We also received a personal tour and overview of the Lace workshop. Truly a special stay for someone just passing through. Highly recommend. Perfect for just about anyone!

I decided to book Limestone Lodge from a recommendation from Rick Steves due to its location and reasonable price. My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay very much. We were able to check in after six PM, which was nice since we arrived a little later than expected, and were greeted warmly by Maria. Although we booked a double, we were given a spacious triple room that was warm and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Very close to the center of town, just a short walk away, and close to the start of the Ring of Kerry as well. Breakfast was delicious as well. The only issue we had was that the Wifi would go in and out, but not a big deal since we were too busy exploring the town. Would recommend to others!
