Description: At O’Donnabhain’s Bar, Restaurant and Guesthouse / Bed and Breakfast we provide you with a memorable experience of food, drink and accommodation. We are located in the hidden gem of Ireland that is Kenmare, Co. Kerry. With an 83% rating on Tripadvisor, we are the perfect place to drop off for a drink, a meal, to listen to some local music, or to stay for the night in one of our modern en suite rooms. Traditional Irish pub O’Donnabhain’s Gastro Bar with its open fire, exposed ceilings and wooden finish provides a fabulous contemporary setting with all the character of an old Irish pub. Drop in, meet the locals, make some new friends and soak up some of the great atmosphere and music. Our restaurant As well as being a Traditional Pub we are also a Restaurant. We have a sheltered Beer Garden able to provide dining for everyone from couples up to large groups (max. 100 people). Whether it is a pre/post wedding party, family get together, or just time out from the day’s excursions, my wife Vanessa and I will take great pleasure in hosting you. As we say ‘God made food for everyone’.

I had dinner here one evening during our stay in Kenmare but my companions had dinner there one additonal time. This is no extraordinary food, but plain pub food. However, I doubt that you get better food in another pub. I ordered the lamb stew which was quite all right, even though maybe a little tasteless. My husband recommends the fish and chips or the ribs, which he found really nice.

This isn't the best romantic restaurant since there is plenty of background noise, but well... it is a pub after all. The pub in itself has a nice atmosphere and the live music later in the evening is really good, even if it might be a bit too loud... it would be nice to hear what your neighbours are saying or what you order in the bar. But still one shouldn't complain!

We were always treated friendly by the staff, even if it was a bit hard to get their attention during "rush hour" when the pub was full.

We ate here several times & were never disappointed. Live music was great. Grab a table on the street & take in the ambience of Kenmare.

This is a very nice pub and been here twice with family from England, but will never go again, The manager is rude to customers an very short with staff he shouldn't have the job as manager, as it's all about customer relations an he needs a lot of work in that area. The food is very good I will say an the waitresses are very friendly an helpful. I would go again if there was a different manager.

We wandered into this place by chance our first night in Kenmare. Prompt service with a smile. Our waitress was entertained by our lack of knowledge of bacon & cabbage, which my husband duly ordered so as to remove this knowledge deficiency. He was most impressed at what was essentially 3 big thick pieces of gammon in a creamy sauce with some cabbage. Our portions were big & we felt good value.
