“Grrrrreat food, superb service”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

We just liked this place for its creative cooking and its unusually atmospheric decorations. The wine of the house is a great choice, the fish among the best we had in Ireland anywhere!

“Wonderful meal and evening”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

We booked for a meal with friends, it was our wedding anniversary. The staff were great, welcoming and informative about the town and area. Food was delicious and when the dessert came the chef had gone to the trouble of piping, in chocolate around the plate, Happy Anniversary. The chef plus waiter brought it in singing "all you need is love". A very nice touch and much appreciated. There was no draught Guiness at the restaurant so they went across the road to the pub to get some! Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this restaurant .

“Great meal and service”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

We didn't know who Tom Crean was before we ate at this restaurant. We were fascinated by the history, and fantastic photographs in the restaurant. The service was excellent, staff were charming, food was great, and we were delighted to meet the owner before we went home. Don't miss this spot if you are in Kenmare.

Tom creams
Lovely restaurant, very popular, very pleasant friendly staff.
We went straight to the main course and had the lemon sole - absolutely delicious. Followed it with the hot chocolate soufflés - yummy!!!

“Another quality Kenmare experience”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

There's lots of choice in Kenmare restaurant-wise, although not much at the budget end.

It's wasn't at the budget end (just over €100 for two) but the meal was of high quality throughout three courses, and the service was excellent.
