“A brief step back in time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

You start your tour of this place by watching a short film telling you who Molly is and about her life, you then follow paths leading you to different things to look at.

There is no entrance fee as such, just what you feel it was worth on the way out. They also give you some bread to feed to the animals you will meet, which obviously makes this a total face to face meeting with some of the greedier ones.

There is a tea shop and souvenir shop here. A lovely way to pass done time.

With the information we found out about Molly, eg the hand made tunnels, when we passed through them we were able to appreciate more fully how arduous a job this was back in the day and how much they are still used even now.

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

During our recent tour of England, Ireland, and Scotland, we were lucky enough to have a dinner planned at Molly Gallivan's. The family here was very warm and inviting. The food delicious and all homemade. I hope they continue to thrive and grow in their business here. It is really a spot you won't want to miss! A true delight!

“Fantastic Welcome Home night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

After the drive over the mountain, it's a welcome stop to rest and relax with good parking facilities and view over the valley. We were lucky to visit on a Tuesday when they host a Welcome Home night re-enactment with typical Irish dinner, music, song and story telling in a traditional Irish cottage. It was a fantastic night with English people, some Americans and us Australians and the story teller wove us all into his stories. They even arranged for us to picked up in the English peoples coach from our accommodation in Kenmare. The cottage is also a gift shop and has some amazing local products in a real Irish cottage setting.

Stopped unexpectedly at Druid's View and went in to Molly GallIvan's.
You can stop for tea here. As well you can look at, and buy lovely traditional Irish craft's.
The view over the valley is great too.
Well worth the stop.
