We were on your way from Dingle towards the Cliffs of Moher and then Galway when we saw Molly Gallivan's on the left. It looked lovely from the outside and my mom stopped right away to have a look. We weren't so interested at the beginning as we had a long day of driving ahead of us and were eager to get to the Cliffs.
As soon as we entered the cottage a lovely smell of freshly baked bread & and the coziness made us feel very relaxed and we ended up staying there for quite a while. The owner Steve was very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. It was really nice chatting to him and learning about this place and its history. I also took a stroll through the farmyard which was really nice! They had donkey's, sheep, chicken and even a pig so young children would definitely love it.
Steve also sells all sorts of souvenirs and there is a lovely café as well. We ended up having a cup of tea with biscuits and bought a really nice sheepskin rug whose smell still reminds us of the lovely time we and in Ireland and at Molly Gallivan's. So definitely worth a stop!
